The ground school was VERY detailed, and the instructor was obviously knowledgeable without being dry and boring. Also, after the class, I was convinced to do the 3-lap with a pro add on to learn the track. That in and of itself was amazing. Tim, the pro driver, did a lap and a half, demonstrated how I should run the track, showing throttle use, and pointing out the lines I should be taking. Then, Tim did a lap and a half his way, as a race driver. I was totally blown away. Next, I was put into the #18 car, and belted in. With all the safety gear, I was grateful to have the spotter on the radio telling me what was going on. I was able to drive to the extent of my comfort level (which was NOWHERE near the pro driver), and still had an amazing time. Finally, I convinced my wife to do a 5 lap ride along. This time, Tim didn't hold back. He pulled a 5 laps and was clocking some great times. She had a mile wide grin after the ride. Definitely worth every cent. The team is 100% professional and safety oriented. Also, all safety gear is provided. Suit, helmet, and HANS device. I look forward to trying this again in the future, maybe at a longer track. Also- GET THE INSURANCE. It's not much more expensive, and I'd rather spend that and MAYBE $1000 if something happens, rather than $15K without.

I booked this experience for my fiance' as a birthday gift since he has an interest in NASCAR and boy he literally could not stop talking about it! Seriously, it was a week later and he was still RAVING about his racing experience. *does a little dance... Go me, Go me, Go me* I had been eyeing this experience for some time now for him, but lucked up and decided to finally book while they were having a BOMB A$$ 70% off sale (if they weren't having the sale, I highly doubt I would've booked as the normal prices are hella steeeeeppppp). Before I booked, I did do some research and found out that the team does offer additional laps that can be purchased at the track, as well as the insurance, Go-Pro filming option, photo plaque, and ride-with-an-instructor option all at the track. If you're hesitant on adding an option (or two, or three), I'd highly recommend waiting 'til you get to the track so you can speak with an employee (or even call them) just to make sure that option fits your needs, as I mentioned the prices are not cheap. With that, I went ahead and booked online the 8-lap experience for him for $149 ($156 after booking service fees) #WINNING. FYI - The regular rate for an 8-lap experience is $499! You do the math... The day of the experience, we did arrive late (dang traffic), but they graciously moved us to the next time slot. Also, while checking-in, I did go ahead and purchase the insurance for $60 (if you don't purchase, you will be liable for ANY and ALL damages prior to leaving the track which could run up to $10K-$15K, but with the insurance you only pay the $1,000 deductible which is also due prior to leaving the track), an additional 5-laps for $99, and the ride-along experience for $69. I would highly recommend getting all three of the items because: a) who has $10K to drop at a race track for a damaged NASCAR (I mean, who has $1K to drop for a damaged NASCAR, but $1K is better than $10K); b) the additional laps are great because whomever is driving is not gonna want to get out the of the car with the initial laps purchased; and c) the ride-along is with an experienced driver who shows you first-hand where you need to brake/accelerate around the track. Prior to even getting anywhere near the track, we did sit through about a 30-45min safety and track orientation for everyone (bystanders and drivers) which was super helpful (shoot, I wasn't even driving and I learned a few things about the car and track). You could really tell that the gentleman giving the instruction loved what did everyday as he was patient, had a little humor, and most importantly expressed the importance of being safe on the track. After orientation, the drivers put on their suits and helmets and we made our way to the track. There were two lines - one for drivers who purchased the ride-along and another line for riders who didn't and were ready to drive. My fiance' let me know that the ride-along was super fun because duh you are riding along with an experienced driver who is pushing the car way faster than you'll ever push it on your own (lol). Then it was game time! It was finally my fiance's turn and off he went. Honestly, the 13 laps went by so fast and I was just on the side. I'm so happy I purchased the additional laps! When he got out of the car, the expression on his face was priceless! On the sideline, you are able to film and take photos, so I was glad I did not have to purchase the Go-Pro package (although we did bring our own Go-Pro, but they would not allow him to place it in the car for safety reasons). If you're wondering, the Go-Pro package provided by Rusty Wallace is mounted to the TOP of your car and films it from the outside as you drive - no inside camera action as in real NASCAR. Great track! We came…read morehere to watch the nascar youth quarter midget racing and stayed for the truck race and had a great time. The track offers camping that is close to the entrance. Sites are a good size and people were friendly. They even have a bathroom with showers. Since it was in the 90s during our trip this was a great option. The fan area is right outside the main gate and easy to navigate. They had lots of autograph sessions before the races that weekend. Best part was having pit passes to go behind the scenes during the race. It was a unique experience that created lots of memories.

But, that's my car and roads I know with higher speed limits. This? Not so sure. I was quite jittery. I have to say, though, everyone at the track was super encouraging, all the way from the front desk to the people helping on the track with getting me outfitted to the driver showing how it's done. Mark, the man giving radio guidance as I was driving was also encouraging and helpful. In the end, the five minutes of driving went too fast, and I wished I could do more. I highly recommend this to everyone who likes to drive. You don't have to be a NASCAR fan, just willing to swallow your fear and trust that the people there want you to succeed and have a good time--maybe even more than you yourself--and have put together a program so you can. Let the buyer beware though! It's a little on the pricey side, totally worth it, though. Highly recommend to anyone who loves cars and speed.

What a cool experience! Never been to a race before and it was worth every penny. We sat at the…read moresecond turn about 6 rows rows up. It was much louder then I thought it would be (bring ear protection). I highly recommend getting pit passes and viewing the pit prior to the start. One thing we should had done was rented the headset radios so we can listen in on the pit crews of our favorite drivers. The speedway is unlike any other major sporting event I have attended. Parking was 100% free (outside the pit parking) and you are able to bring coolers in to the track. This means booze and food. They restrict the size of the cooler and they will measure it at the gate. We saw a family of 5 bring 3 cooler which supplied the parents and kids with drinks and food for the entire race. The race lasts about 4 hours or more depending on crashes or rain delays. They also have pre-race events where you can meet the drivers. Over all 9.8 out or 10.

I was a bit nervous myself, but they made sure everyone felt comfortable and ready to race. The go kart racing was definitely the highlight; everyone had a blast and it turned into a fun competitive bonding experience. But what we really loved was the VR latency experience, which was as such a cool alternative for anyone who didn't want to be on the track. It was awesome being able to offer something for everyone. The facility itself was very clean and well kept. Great vibe for a team event. We're also excited to come back once the bar is fully built out! Overall, highly recommend for any companies looking to do a corporate team event. We will be back!

The people at the desk are informative and quick, races are fairly prices, karts are fast, and the track is amazing. For causal racers- it's a blast. The speed of the karts are manageable, the track isn't to tricky, and the equipment onsite is great. They have multiple helmets onsite in all sizes. For competitive racers- its an amazing experience. As a competitive racer myself, the karts are able to zip around the track smoothly. It's easy to over/understeer when pushing, but that comes with racing.

SCAM ALERT Today was…read moremy daughter's 8th birthday, so we decided to support a local business and take the kids to Swaders Sports Park for arcade fun. I purchased multiple game cards for my daughter and two other children so they could enjoy themselves and save up tickets for prizes. My daughter was beyond excited after landing the 250 bonus on the Big Wheel Spin game... but when we checked the card balance afterward, the tickets were completely missing. While trying to resolve the issue, an employee directed me to the manager -- described as a white-bearded gentleman. On the way to speak with him, we witnessed another child hit a 1000-ticket bonus on a separate machine, and those tickets also failed to register. When we informed the manager, his response was:"If you hit 1000, you should tell me immediately." I explained it had literally just happened less than a minute earlier. His response then changed to:"Well, it says you didn't even play that game." At that point, I made it clear that I'm someone with a public platform, and I fully intend to investigate whether this is simply a flawed ticket system or something much more concerning involving children and families losing earned prizes. To be fair, I want to mention that the majority of the staff were actually polite and friendly. My issue was specifically with the handling of the situation by management, which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Also worth mentioning: the kid zone was closed for "maintenance" during the visit. Parents work hard for their money, and kids deserve to receive the rewards they fairly win. I'll be looking deeper into how this ticket system operates in a deep dive video investigation documenting this issue for the world to see. There are always events occurring at this club and there are emails and other communications to keep members in the loop. Want to learn to sail? But don't have a boat? There are always Captains of boats who want extra crew and are willing to teach. The menu is affordable in the club but there are two places to eat- upstairs which is fancy and below for casual fare and not as strict a dress code. There is an outdoor dining area so you can bring your pouch. Be sure to say hi if you see me I can be found sailing in Loose Cannon - the sharp J105!

I bought a groupon for this place which was still expensive so I wasn't about to not use it. Making an appointment with them took 3 weeks to try to do. Their online system would not let me book anything further than a few weeks out and there was nothing even available. I finally got my date scheduled in June. I got there and the wait was so ridiculous. I would have sat there for 3 hours at least before I would have even been able to get my instructions from the pit crew. Having a timeslot does not seem to mean anything since it pretty much is first come first serve. Why have a time slot to register for if you are not going to follow it. Needless to say, I wasn't about to sit there for that long so I had to reschedule. Rescheduling is not something I was too happy about especially since they are about an hour away. By the way, I'm so glad I did not sit there and wait b/c I would have had to reschedule due to the weather. So I go home and try to reschedule. Nothing was available until September. I couldn't get myself on the waitlist through their online system and had to call them to do that. Luckily I was able to get something for July and they do give you enough notice so you can plan ahead. On the day of my new appointment, it was still a pretty big wait but definitely not as bad. I was shocked by the additional $30 I had to pay for tip and taxes. Luckily, groupon credited me $15 for this since they do have it in their fine print but you only expect this with restaurants. Thank you groupon for the credit! As an fyi, insurance is extra too. I didn't get it but if you do get into a crash, you may be screwed. The pit crew, all volunteers, were extremely nice and funny! They did make sure you understood what you had to do and that you were comfortable. Short people, you probably will want to ask for some sort of towel or cushion so you can sit closer to the pedals. Driving the car was a good experience. The first few laps were a bit scary but you do get used to it and want to go faster than 200mph. You don't have to worry about changing gears which is nice for those of you not comfortable driving stick shift. I do wish I could have gone a bit faster. I will say the funniest part of this whole day was that I got into an accident (the other driver's fault) on my way home and not at the track.
