This manti was just lovely! I really enjoyed the way it was prepared, different from your typical…read moreTurkish ravioli. :) The yogurt was soft and light, a little liquidy for my tastes, but made an excellent topping. I also enjoyed the nuts, I had never seen manti served with nuts before and that was an interesting and welcome garnish.
However, the whole meal didn't sit right in my stomach, and I suffered from weird indigestion all night. :/ The only thing that has given me that result in Istanbul so far has been çiğ köfte from Migros! Uh oh...
The place also loses a star for its sterile appearance. Nothing about the restaurant makes you feel cozy, warm, or at home. It's decorated like a hospital! O_o
Nevertheless I'd recommend it to someone who loves manti or wants to try something different from Turkish cuisine. I might not go back, though.
