First off, it's not really clear from the outside or until you get in that this is farm to table…read more All the vegetables are from the owners farm and some of the meat. Secondly this is a heavily seafood menu, so if you like seafood this is the place. Lastly, this is authentic, local food. There is a whole page dedicated to raw fish. There is also a local dish which I would highly recommend. The service is wonderful, the owners are so friendly and happy, they made us feel incredibly welcome and took us through the menu. The interior was amazing too. Quite honestly there is nothing about this restaurant to dislike. The food was delicious (we tried 5 different things because we couldn't decide) and the atmosphere and service are exceptional. And whether or not this makes a difference for you, this place is frequented by celebrities, they have a whole wall shrine of gifts from the likes of Will Smith to the late David Bowie (Will smith has been there 3 times I believe). Basically, if you're in San Remo, make a booking

So today, we came into Italy. I don't speak any Italian, so I'm mixing up French and Spanish…read moreterminology as I speak both. Anyways, we went to a restaurant tonight that has a 1 Michelin star. The waiter wasn't the usual waiter as the head waiter wasn't there. The other girl there wasn't a waitress, either. What made this place so charming is that we had service that was not polished. He kept apologizing and spoke broken English and admitted he wasn't the usual server. We later found out that he was the nephew of the owners, and the chef in the kitchen is the son of the owners, who are currently in Hong King representing the restaurant. This was by far the most charming as fun experience I've had. Even though his English wasn't good, he was nervous, he couldn't find the wine we ordered, and forgot our silverware, it was still the most fun I've had in an Italian restaurant. The food was SO good and I hope to experience this place again. I'm going to recommend it to everyone I encounter.

Proud prices for the quality received. For emotional and atmospheric reasons this dinner got higher…read moremarks but for cold logical or objective reasons it is more a 2 star experience. We chose it spontaneously for location, ordered a seafood soup, lobster pasta, pepper steak and tartar. These were unspectacular in flavor but with substantial quantity so it may appeal to some. But great location and atmosphere, great desserts and wine. Would go back under the right circumstances.

My brother went to this restaurant a couple of weeks ago and recommended it. That's why we went…read morethere this evening. The restaurant is very small therefore he told us to reserve a table in advance. My sister called, but we didn't know that they're closed in the afternoon. Therefore we couldn't place a reservation. However we went there even though we couldn't reserve a table. The owner said all the tables inside were reserved (when we left we saw that not all of them were occupied and we could've sat inside). However the owner of the restaurant gave us a table outside. That was totally fine with us, because we were really hungry. We ordered appetizers, main dishes and dessert. I really can't complain about the food. It was tasty - therefore my brother was right to recommend this restaurant. However the owner/server forgot my salad. I had to tell them twice to bring me my salad. At the opposite of this restaurant there is a gelato place (literally 2 meters away) and my father wanted to order 1 scoop of ice cream from there (he would've ordered ice cream from the restaurant if they offered it, but they didn't offer amarena ice cream). We asked a server whether it would be ok if my dad would buy ice cream over there and eat it at our table while we're having our dessert. She said that she'd have to ask the owner but thinks it's ok. It wasn't. The owner came outside and said that he cannot eat it at the table. I then told her that that's not good customer service especially because she forgot my salad. Her reply was: "I forgot it because I didn't write it down". Is that my fault though? If you can't remember the order then maybe you should write it down! Additionally I told her that if she'd allow him to eat it, she'd have a chance to make up for her mistake (forgetting my salad order). She refused and said that if other people see that he's eating ice cream from another place, other people will do so too. I told her then that we wouldn't order dessert if he can't have his ice cream at the table with us. She then said ok but was very annoyed and unfriendly to us. She went inside her restaurant, came back with a glass, went to the gelato place, bought 2 scoops of ice cream, put it in the glass, gave it to my dad and asked us where we're from. Like if that would matter?! We said that were from Germany. She then said that no restaurant would allow us to do that in Germany, which is not true. Any restaurant owner anywhere in the world who values their customers will know that good food but more important good service is the key to customer satisfaction. The customer is king. It was so inappropriate to ask us where we're from and she said that in a super unfriendly way and acted annoyed. Very unprofessional and almost childish. After that she didn't even look at us anymore and also the other servers treated us in a very unfriendly way and didn't want to look at us. Very, very, very unprofessional and childish. The owners have apparently 2 more restaurants so they should know how to treat their customers. When the bill arrived we saw that they labeled my dads 2 scoops of ice cream as their "daily dessert" which was 7€. Later my dad asked in the gelato place, how much the owner of the restaurant paid for his ice cream. It was 2€. So there was a difference of 5€, which is not ok at all. Our bill was 155€ in total (for 4 people) which was ok. It was definitely not ok though to act this way, to treat us so unprofessionally and to charge us 7€ for the ice cream. We will definitely NOT come back to this place again. She did not know anything about customer service and her behavior was rude, unprofessional, inappropriate and childish. I gave 2 stars for this restaurant, because the food was good. Everything else wasn't.
