I'm not the type to have a strong design vision, but we shared a general aesthetic and Kristen brought everything to life in ways that far exceeded our expectations. Every event looked stunning, and each space felt unique yet cohesive. The Sangeet decor especially blew us away, Kristen created a colorful structure draped in bright fabrics that completely transformed the atmosphere. Throughout the entire process, she was communicative, thoughtful, and attentive to every detail, ensuring that everything ran seamlessly. I highly recommend Kristen and Cultural Events. The whole team made our wedding weekend unforgettable, and we're so grateful for their creativity and care.

Kristen worked with me, my husband, and my family to create six different looks for our wedding weekend, which in itself is no small feat, but was able to construct and breakdown everything within short half hour/hour intervals. Each design was unique, thematic, and absolutely gorgeous. Kristen worked with us for nearly a year to cultivate and create a vision for our wedding far beyond our own imagination. She is not only a consummate professional, but was an advocate for me and my husband's. She helped make sure our ideas shined throughout the planning process. Planning from Maryland for a Monterey wedding was stressful enough but Kristen's passion and dedication made the planning a lot easier, and even fun! Her resourcefulness also helped us find unique elements as well as our amazing florist, Bella Vita Floral. The Cultural Events Rental company is truly adept at navigating the nuances in any culture (be it Indian, Mexican, or American like we had). Thank you Kristen and the Cultural Events Rental Team for making our wedding a truly once in a lifetime event!

Because of the distance and our lavish taste we knew we needed to have a planner and Fearon couldn't have been a more perfect fit. We hired her for full service including a cocktail welcome party the day before the wedding and a brunch post wedding. In regards to pricing she is VERY fair, we talked to many local coordinators and were NOT impressed with their work or their passion for what they do. Also, I noticed that other planners give you a certain amount of hours and appointments...not the case here!! She was always available and we were blown away with the amount of time she put into the design and planning of our wedding. Before hiring Fearon, the only vendors we had chosen were the location and photographer, she provided a great list of vendors to choose from that she works with on a regular basis and they truly were amazing. Fearon is so creative and savvy, all the while trying to get the most bang for your buck. I could not have had the wedding of my dreams without Fearon. We enjoyed our wedding weekend from top to bottom and every guest and people who did not even attend who have seen pictures say it is the most beautiful wedding they have ever seen. I am an OCD detail oriented person and the week of the wedding I was not worried/stressed....at all!! I knew that Fearon had everything handled and she definitely exceeded our expectations and dreams.

I interviewed many coordinators of which none of them saw our vision and style. Fearon with Fearon May Events answered her phone at 10pm on a sunday night when I thought I was going to leave a message to set up an interview. Bubbly, friendly, and vibrant, I immediately knew she was the one. As soon as we met the next day, her personality, the fresh/new ideas that she brought to the table, and youth was exactly what we were seeking. Unlike the other coordinator's overdone, boring, and unoriginal ideas. This is going to be the wedding of the year! My fiance and I were extremely involved in the process, very demanding, had great vendors but none of it would be possible if it wasn't for the hard work and efforts of Fearon. She met with us weekly on our schedules whether it be late night, weekends, or even last minute calls. She went on every appt with us and gave us nothing but first class service throughout several months and fought for us to get the best deals possible. If anyone is planning a wedding or event and is looking to hire a coordinator then I strongly encourage you to call Fearon if you want a hassle free, one of a kind event. Trust me........there is no one else in town I interviewed them all! LOVE YOU FEARON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tyler has a lot of experience in the wedding industry and it shows!…read more I hired Tyler to be my day-of coordinator at my wedding in Sea Ranch, CA for 60 people. From the beginning she made it clear what the timeline would look like for our partnership - what would be needed and when. When I became a little overwhelmed half-way through planning, Tyler was able to pick up additional scope of work which was a huge relief at the time. She also saved me a huge headache by picking up and dropping off some of my rental items since the minimum order spend for delivery was more than double my rental quote (my wedding was in a pretty remote area so most companies charged a high fee for delivery). Tyler was very thoughtful and organized about the little details I didn't think of which showcases her high degree of experience and attention to detail. She wasn't afraid to push on things on behalf of myself and my husband with our wedding venue - which I really appreciated! We had great communication throughout the wedding planning process - centralizing information in a shared Google doc. Tyler was willing to review my own personal wedding planning documents as well. She was always quick to respond to emails or texts, and also let me know in advance if she was going to be delayed in responding. On the day-of, Tyler had a great demeanor - when I saw her I could tell she was getting down to business but she made sure to keep things calm and light with me - making sure I felt comfy and relaxed on my wedding day. She kept things moving in the wedding day so we kept pace with the timeline. She made sure to account for all the logistical things like where to store decor items before and after the event. She was fantastic at corralling all the wedding vendors, collecting all the documents and information and knew when to keep me in/out of the loop at all times. Overall I would highly suggest working with Tyler for her high degree of experience, organization, thoughtfulness, and overall pleasant demeanor.

There are many high quality wedding planners for Napa Valley, however, if you are looking for one…read morethat conducts business with integrity, I would not recommend Angela N. of Lulu Events and here is why... We signed Angela as our planner in May 2010 to help us with our Napa Valley destination wedding in October 2010. As we were planning our wedding from Asia and had less than 5 months til the big day, we needed a planner who was available and flexible to meet our demanding schedules. She claimed to be the "BEST PLANNER IN NAPA", provided us with "great" references, and assured us that she was very experienced in working with overseas clientele, so we paid our 50% of the fee to go ahead with Angela. (Note, she also emailed us that another party wanted to sign with her for an October 2010 event and given she has a quota of events she can do, we felt some time pressure... though, it was still our fault we didn't spend enough time to look around more thoroughly). Unfortunately, shortly after signing the contract we realized Angela was not right for us. We found out early on that her schedule was not very flexible to our needs and she was at times even unaware of the drastic time zone differences. Apart from canceling & re-scheduling several of our conference calls, she was unable to meet us for two separate in person appointments that we had flown in for from Asia. The first time was a brief business visit to the Bay Area, but given the short notice of our travel itinerary and not being her clients yet, we gave her the benefit of the doubt. But she was unavailable again when we planned to do another week long visit to the Bay Area/Napa to do our wedding site check and by that time, she was our planner. Maybe she was stretched too thin, or we were too far away, or we were not considered a big budget wedding, or that she often flies back and forth between Napa and southern California...but nonetheless something was wrong. Within the first week of signing on, Angela was out of pocket for the first few days, then she emailed to reschedule our conference calls that week and by the end of the week, we were told she would not be able to accommodate us when we were in town for our site check. With the distance and impending time crunch until the wedding, it was at that moment that we realized this was not going to work out and that Angela would not be able to provide the service we needed. We explained this to her over the phone and reiterated our concerns over email before asking if we could receive our money back or be billed for the work she had already done so that we could mutually cancel the contract. We thought this was a reasonable request given that only a few hours of work had been done so far and that our schedules just could not match hers. However, she was surprised at our request and refused to not only not provide the requested refund, but also stopped returning our calls and emails to work out an amicable solution. In the end, we were able to find a different wedding planner and had an incredible wedding. However, we are deeply disappointed that Angela seemed more focused on her bottom line than caring about the wedding couples who have been saving and working so hard for their special day...
