This movie theater is clean and in a great location, Westfield Mall. I purchased the VIP seating for a showing of Late Night (highly recommend this Mindy Kaling film) on a Tuesday night. DO NOT buy a vip seat, it is not at all worth it. I couldn't see how it was any bigger, and the other rows had plenty of space for you to get up and not physically disturb your neighbor. VUE should be using the vip service to allow a special line for concessions, so that you don't have to wait as long. Then it would be worth it. Thankfully, the movie started late, as I had to wait in line for 5 min to get food (also, why haven't they done McDonald's type order ahead screens at theaters yet?). read more

Tried this place because of the hype. I wasn't disappointed but definitely underwhelmed! I've definitely had better but it wasn't terribly. If I had to visit again I wouldn't be opposed. read more
I have been going to this place since it opened a few months back. This place has wow factor....the mere fact it is in Westfield Mall makes me giggle like a schoolgirl.....when you rock up lobby looks amazing...bright lights and neon everywhere.... its like Las Vegas.... and then you swagger with style to the counter and the dream is shattered.....the crappy standard Vue traits kick in. Dirty counters!!! Do you guys live like this at home? And slow pace of service and questionable mental faculty (allegedly)of the staff is frustrating....how hard can it be to serve coke and popcorn!!!!! "Yella" as the Arabs say. Buying tickets is easy - it is all automated - so they have cut out the staff - THANK GOD. Unless you are a cheapo like me and do Orange Wednesdays then you have to buy your tickets from the counter. The VIP seats are rubbish and a rip off. They are set all the way at the back and top (the nose bleed seats). WTF guys from back there the Cinema Screen looks like to be the size of an iPod screen - my seats at home are comfier and the TV screen larger. The normal seats are plenty nice. I go here because its new. Give it another few months and the poor Vue maintenance will kick in and nomadically I will have to move on. There is a special area for the extra rich who want to pay £15 per ticket and get free refills but frankly £15 per ticket.....come on....I could fund a coup in a small West African or South American Country for less (and still have enough money left over for a bag of popcorn and a diet coke from the local Waitrose) then that....okay I am exaggerating....but only slightly. Off peak this is a great place to go....during peak hours however Che himself could not have hoped for a more effective and chaotic way to disrupt capitalism and commerce. read more

Located at the top of the Westfield shopping complex in Shepherds Bush, you could perhaps view Vue cinemas as the icing on the cake, which make Westfield the complete leisure experience - it complements a good variety of shops, eating experiences and even a skating rink. The tickets are now sold mainly by machine though you can also buy them at the concession counter but the queues there can be very long. So best to book online or come armed with a credit card. There are quite a few screens with lots of choice of movie. The seats are large and comfortable with good banking so shorties like me can still see the screen. read more
Movie Moana. Vue movie theatre located on top floor of Westfield Mall, sorry I mean Westfield Shopping Center. This movie complex has 17 screens, and if their all like theatre 4 wow! Huge screen, the largest I've ever seen. Our tickets were VIP. Larger seats and wide aisle. Comfortable seating. I wish my seats on the AA plane from Tampa across the pond were like these! Price point don't know my daughter in law bought them on line. As far as a movie theatre goes this was first class! read more

My friend & I bought tickets to see Mama recently, waited 15 mins to get popcorn with only 2 people in front of us. Even though we were missing the trailers we got Ben & Jerry's & were generously offered a free scoop. Showed our tickets to the woman at the door & who managed to send us to the wrong theatre. Took us 10 mins getting comfy in the chairs & getting weird looks from people next to us to realise the movie's 3 quarters of the way through & close to ending that they sent us to the wrong one. Staff & manager didn't seem bothered, no apologises, rushed in to catch the movie instead of demanding a refund & missed the first part of the movie. read more
Crisps! Popcorn is bad enough but is, I suppose, part of cinema tradition but selling big packets of crisps? In the Cinema? That's just what I want to hear while I'm trying to enjoy a film, someone rustling and crunching their way through a packet of crisps. They should be banned, not sold - as should all plastic packaging. Aside from encouraging an overpriced distraction (crisps! Really?), the service is a little slow - not that it's quick in any Vue cinema. The size of the screen was huge and would have been an amazing experience had I not been allocated a seat right down in the front corner of the auditorium. Such a poor, poor position to watch a film from, my neck and back ached afterwards from needing to contort myself in my seat just to have any sort of decent view of the screen. What's more, these seats of torment are the same price as all the regular seats. It's quite grating to know that you've paid the same price as nearly everyone else and about 95% of those have an unhindered view while you toil and suffer down in the corner. Two stars for being able to do what one would expect of a cinema but not exceeding expectations in any areas while falling short in others. It's probably worth pointing out that I am a bit of a cinema snob but I can only comment on my own experiences and this is another cinema I'll be hoping to avoid in future. One of the best, cleanest cinemas I've ever been in. Worldwide. Vue Westfield is gorgeous and new and coming from a place where you enter a screen only to see popcorn spewed all over the floor, this place is a breath of fresh air. The seats are totally roomy. Room for me and my giant handbag beside me. Only one gripe being that the aircon didn't seem to make it up to row Q on my most recent visit. Other times, I've been blissfully chilly. The Xtreme screens are worth the extra £2! Because it is in Westfield, seats do tend to sell out quickly, so for bigger releases it may be safer to book online. Vue Westfield definitely isn't the closest cinema to my home, but I'll always make the trek over. read more
So assigned seats is what it is. But the seats were taken by all the kiddies. So that throws everything off. No worries, as long as we could find seats together, I'm good. Otherwise I found the Vue comfortable for movie watching. Not too cold, not too loud, or any other such annoyances. read more

Spent nearly £50 on 2 VIP tickets online. I selected specific seats very early on in the day to ensure my money was well spent. Yes I expect exceptional seats for £50. Annoyingly the website malfunctioned and deselected the seats I specified. Instead I ended up purchasing comparatively inferior seats for the same obscene value. I call the customer 'care' line on premium rate to be told by a robot that all seat selections cannot be changed over the phone. I try again and make it through to a useless operating assistant who essentially tells me she could change it but won't. I arrive early to the screening and am initially helped until they run into difficulty and have to call over a supervisor. I explain my issue to be met with a snotty and unreasonable attitude who exclaims "but you have great seats... they VIP"... "Yes I'm aware they're VIP, I paid significantly extra for them." I reply. "They are not the seats I selected, I'm aware the seats I wanted are now taken and what I've been forced to spend £50 on are off-centre seats which are not worth that much money." She looks at me confused that I'm not interested in her opinion and clearly can't comprehend that I just want her to change the fucking seats to better ones. I give up. So here I am sitting in the same shit seats Vue's terrible website has opted I pay for. Nice one Vue - you're incapable of creating a system that'll easily change something as simple as seats and ensured people can't cancel purchases. Excellent customer service you've got there! Way to screw up someone's cinema experience. read more
I must say it has got a very loungy cool feel to the whole movie going experience. But then again I suppose that's the general direction everything is headed towards - transforming every experience into something it's totally not meant to be. Minor logistical point. It will take about 10 minutes at the very least, unless you're sprinting for your life, to get to the movie hall from Shepherd's Bush tube station, so give yourself the time. I couldn't tell where the line for tickets was initially; another 21st century cinema retail feature. One stop shop for your movie ticket, Orange extra, pop corn, etc. I must say the lines here move particularly slowly. Too many indecisive pop corn shoppers, if there's anything like that. However, because of the enlarged sense of space the ticketing hall feels nice and airy. Waiting is OK if you're not too late for the movie. Adding it all up, if you're anything like me, you should budget half hour or so for (1) Physical walking time (2) Retail distraction en route (3) Waiting in queue for the ticket. While you're waiting for your date or your Orange +1, you can also enjoy the hullabaloo that's on the ground floor or just people watch. Fun. read more
This Vue cinema is in Westfield London, not because it is in West London as Westfield is the Group's brand name for their shopping centres in London, in the US and in Australia and New Zealand, and not to be confused with the one in East London called Westfield Stratford City in Stratford, London. Vue Westfield is located on the top level of the shopping centre overlooking the atrium, which is ideal for premieres to be held, but not so good for fans attending the screenings at the premieres, as they do not get to see any of the stars in the flesh, as the stars do not do a personal introduction but via a live video link from the stage in the atrium, so just a screen appearance, which really defeats the purpose of going to a premiere and walking the red carpet with the stars, or seeing them in the flesh introducing the screening. It is a huge cinema complex with 17 screens, each screens are huge, even the smaller screening rooms, so offering a really good cinema experience, although the front row seats are just too near for such big screens. read more
Definitely our go-to cinema (mainly because of free Lloyd's bank VUE vouchers!) but also because it is just a nice as the Leicester Sq cinemas, but in the West! Saw THE INTERN here on Friday night this week in Cinema 15. Not usually my favourite screen here, but for a comedy/drama it was fine. When we turned up one hour before the screening to get our tickets, the session was completely sold out except for the front row. Turns out, the front row is AMAZING in this cinema! It's one row in front of the VIP section and totally fine for a small screen like this. Stay away from the snacks though, as usual with cinemas... totally overpriced. Highly recommend grabbing dinner at the tapas bar or the amazing food court downstairs instead. Amazing selection. PS to the haters who say the customer service here isn't good - I'm pretty sure these kids get paid minimum wage... have some patience. read more

This is the most mismanaged movie theater I have ever had the displeasure to go to. The ticket machines don't work right. It tells you that you have to go to a cashier to buy your ticket. But there are no ticket cashiers in sight. Then the manager tells you (rudely) that the candy lines are also the ticket lines. (duh, right?) you stand in one line for ten minutes only to be told that their machine is broken. then you move to another ridiculous line and wait to pay your 45 pounds for a terrible movie, in uncomfortable seats, with deafening volume levels. is it any wonder that movies theaters are having are hard time getting people to leave their houses? read more

Opened just last Friday in the heart of Westfields Mall.alot of expectation was on this grand opening.i did take a peek on the actual opening day to see what the fuss was about.right on the top floor of the mall, passing through the food court of the 1st floor, vue cinemas stretches out the whole diameter!nicely furnished...an array of flat screen tv in a montage to create one image..a few seating areas here and there..a massive counter to buy treats, seperate counter for ben and jerry's...then further down there are SCENE rooms where they have specialised seats and luxury food and drink if you want to pay the extra. the cinema has 14 scenes altogether where there is a combo of experiences that the viewer can experience i.e. 3D,SCENE and VUE x-treme where the cinema screen is four times the size of a normal size cinematic screen to gain the ultra experience! i did go here 2 days later on valentines day to watch Avatar on 3D.never seen a film on 3D let alone in a brand new cinema so it was quite anticipating!upon arrival it was packed out.running late and because bf wasn't here on time and the film we were watching was prob on its way,i decided to queue up for snacks as it was packed.i had to wait at least 20 mins till i got served so was quite disappointed because im sure it wouldn't take that long.i mean the staff were busy but once it got to me,i ordered popcorn and a drink but they didnt have the drink i wanted so i asked for another alternative but then got told that they didnt have that either.i thought this was totally ridiculous so thought just give me a drink but charge me for the price of the sprite i wanted in the first place.ud think that they would be prepared for drinks to run dry but they werent so that was the first downfall..secondly,the guy who served me thought it would be ok to chat to his coworker for a while before he goes back to serve me.so then another member of the public in another queue thought it was ridiculous that they had to spend more than nearly half an hr to get snacks.its either the staff are not properly trained or because its new cinema, they are not use to it..but then this should be expected.i thought the snacks were abit overpriced as well as the tickets..had to spend nearly £8 on just two items.i could get 2 kfc meals with that!anyways finally i got the snacks met up with the bf and went to our screen.we were given our special 3d glasses which i thought were trendy, then the ticket checker staff were "commenting" on how members of the public were getting on her nerves.obviously didnt carry on until me and the bf went into the screen but i thought that was totally uncalled for.i think the staff need to be all fired because they remain incompetant.the only good point is that i enjoyed watching avatar on 3d and on the x-treme large scenes and TO NOTE that we were given free entry to the next admission we go to because a supposed "hitch" occured during the film.ohh wait and apparently the screen we were in was overbooked because we booked our tickets and then 3 girls were told we were in their seats...totally ridiculous..i will give 2 stars for now because im sure it will be better overtime but first experience has not been a good one read more

When you're charged £16 to watch a film, as you are here at the Scene part of Vue, you expect a superlative viewing experience in return. Or, at least, as my companion said, 'a few naked men thrown in.' At least there were some nice sofas to sink into in the foyer while we waited for our film to start, we thought. Except, they weren't very nice as it turned out. They were lurid red, too small, unyielding carbuncles that wouldn't have looked out of place in McDonalds. We bought some popcorn to console ourselves. This cost £5!! Really. £5 for what is around 90% air. Our purses thoroughly emaciated, we made our way expectantly into the auditorium. "For £16, it's going to be AMAZING", we cooed. Well, yes, the seats are generous and made of leather (or something resembling it) and yes, they recline..a bit. Oh, and you get a little table to put your extortionately priced snacks on. But really, that's it. If you're the nearby Electric cinema and ooze glamour and decadence you can get away with that kind of pricing. Not, I'm afraid if you're a charmless multiplex in a shopping centre. Unless, that is, you add naked men. Really not my scene. read more

I was privileged to see the premier of the new 3D movie 3DTT in this cinema complex. The cinema itself is way up at the top of the building but nearby are all the shops and some very good well-priced restaurants and food shops. One lot of us went to Nandos and the rest went to the Pizza restaurant just below the cinemas where we were to see the film. Outside the cinema was a display of TT motorcycles and the TT trophies. A good turnout of famous riders attended so autograph hunters had a field day. We were called into one of two screens where the premier was being shown and spent an exciting time watching the 3D movie. The movie is great and I would see it again ----and again !. It will soon be released for the general publics viewing so get yourself to your nearest cinema when you see it on the billboards. It was easy coming up from Reading, train to Reading from Earley, Reading to Paddington then Paddington to Shepherds Bush.. Going home was the same route...for a retired person only £10.55 return ! read more

It is deafening loud during the ads. We complained and they said there was nothing they could do about it. But finally after a few others complained they fixed it and it was quite nice. I'm still a bit deaf from the first 30minutes but it will fade. Apparently there is some rule that the adverts get to be louder than the movie. We were in the VIP lounge which is very nice. Pricey but nice. Drinks were good. Had a delicious pitcher of Pimms. The nachos were cold but yummy. Left my phone there and they got ahold of me to give it back. So kudos to a great staff! They listened to complaints about the volume and were honest to return the phone. Will be back! Never coming back. read more

Worst customer service ever. Queued 35min in the slowest queue of them all (3 couples were served) and when it was my turn was told: "Sorry sir but this till is now closed" Spoke with the manager, who had no will to make things better. Went home and rented a movie. This was during the week and the queue was very short when I joined. Use the machines to buy tickets and don't buy food or you'll join the queues of death. Otherwise you may end up rather upset writing a review on Yelp. Or just go to another cinema where they serve people faster like you would expect in a big city like London. read more

Been twice now and found it most enjoyable. As others have said, there is a spacious entrance hall with comfy lounging seats and even an area where you can sit and watch previews. The only thing missing is a bar - there's plenty of room for one. There's a load of ticket machines downstairs, though they can be busy at peak times. Or, if you are going to buy some munchies you may as well get your tickets at the food counter. If you are of a certain age (over 60) they have a Senior Club - not really a Club, just a specific film on a specific date and time and a ticket price of a very reasonable £3.55 (£5.55 for VIP seats), with complimentary tea and bickies after. I love the idea of VIP seats. They are real comfy and just the right distance away from the screen so that you are not craning your neck or having to whip your head from side to side to follow the action. My suggestion - go early to Westfield, do some shopping, go to Vue and buy your cinema tickets at the machines, go for a meal in the foodhall nearby then waltz back to the cinema about 5 minutes before your film starts. read more

Well I went to Vue Last week to see Hangover 2 with my partner and I totally enjoyed the experience. Now, I live 5 minutes away from westfileds hence why its taken so long to use their cinemas, i'd rather travel out further to enjoy my nights out. But I must say the price wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (£8-9 for an adult), the food is always going to be a bit pricey but i managed some nanchos and popcorn for around £10.... Not bad. The screens were of a very good quality and the seating.. ooooh i loved the seating. I havent been to a cinema where you can lift up the drinks holder to turn your single seater into a double seater. Ideal for me and my partner.. usually cinemas restrict you from being near your loved one, whereas here we both felt more comfortable. Location wise its brilliant at the top of the shopping centre, what a lovely view (pardon the pun) when looking down. Close by are restaurants followed by a mass of shops, what more could you need. Really enjoyed my time here! The only thing i'd criticise is the fact you buy tickets where you buy food. I prefer the old school ticket bays and food section seperate. read more
Awesome theater! Spacious, clean, lots of movies to choose from. Very modern compared to any other theater I've visited in London. Only negative is that it's outside of central London, but then again that's how it manages to have a modern feel. All the treats you could want and it's located on the top floor of the luxurious Westfield mall. A movie here after shopping is a great way to spend an afternoon. Saw Friends With Benefits here. Keep in mind that if you're driving there then you'll have to pay for parking as well. We got there at 7pm, we ate and headed for the film starting at 9pm - parking was £10. Unless VUE validates parking tickets - which I don't know about! read more

The location of Vue Westfields couldn't possibly be better. There are restaurants left right and centre for you to get a great meal before or after the film. Plenty of cafés too. The best thing is how clean this place is. That's why I come here. I can also take a break from shopping while I'm at the mall. Pretty convenient. A little pricey though and I wouldn't bother ordering anything. It takes them ages!! read more
I always feel a bit of guilt about going to this cinema because its proximity to Ealing has effectively killed the re-development of the old Cinema there, which for the last 9 years has languished as a pile of rubble. There is surely room for a more local cinema in Ealing as well as Vue. Anyway, Vue Westfield "London" is perfectly good save in one respect-price. To see Mad Max 3D in something called Vue Extreme which basically means a bigger screen cost a whopping £58 for 3 tickets! This is West End prices in Shepherd's Bush, which makes me pine desperately for the manky local cinema in Ealing which cost £6 a seat! True, each screen in Westfield is well built with stepped back seating and all screens are generally pretty large but the prices are too high. Even so, I think as a cinema experience it deserves 4 stars. read more

I thought this cinema was clean and comfortable. Yes, some of the ticket prices are high for the more premium screens, but you do have a choice. The standard tickets are the same as anywhere else now, which is expensive but also the going rate. We went to see War Horse in the extreme screen which was a little bit more expensive (about £12.50) but the sound system was amazing, the picture was perfect and there was plenty of legroom and generous seating. The banking of the seats also means that short people like myself don't have to worry about the person in front's head being the main feature. It's probably worth buying a drink/snacks somewhere else to save a few pennies. read more

Came here in July 2012 to see the Dark Knight Rises which was OK movie but not great. I came to see it in the VIP theater. This is the best place to see a movie. Big leather reclining seats. These are best seats I have seen any movie theater, very comfortable for long movies. If you come early there is a lounge area with bar where you can hang out with a drink. The best part is that you must be 18+ to use this theater, so no annoying loud children around. read more

Sure, this location has occasional movie premiers, and does have an eclectic secondary/special series, but for the price of these tickets I want far more bang for my buck. Screens are decent, seats are comfy enough, and you can get extras (VIP seats), but 16 pounds per basic ticket is ridulous. read more
The Vue Westfield is my local cinema. Their Programming is mainly mainstream which is abosultely fine. However, I always feel that watching a film in this particular cinema has gotten a bit unpersonal, as there are a lot of ticket machines you can buy your ticket at...So, if you don't buy any drink / snack, then you'll not really be in contact with another human being at all. read more

Caught a thriller here with a mate this past December and we really enjoyed the experience. The prices are standard and the chairs are very comfortable. The screen was nice and big, and the venue was very very clean. The sound system was great for the movie and we both were totally engrossed in the action onscreen. The best part was the clientelle. It was largely adults and there was no distractions to take away from the film. read more

This is the worst cinema I have ever been to and would never go again. We were only 10 minutes late for the film and were not aloud to go in to see the film. parking in westfield and walking to the cinema takes about 10 minutes and they said it is the last film and we have closed all the tills. (How can you close all the tills 10 minutes into a film. not customer friendly at all and customer service was so poor they could not explain why the tills were closed so early into the film. Total BS customer services, accidentally booked Sheperds Bush instead of Westfield. We turned up at Westfield with Shepard's Bush tickets and we where allowed into a screen (how is that possible???). Vue customer services told us that we can't have a refund as the performance has now passed. Went with a friend some time ago (can't remember when). We bought our tickets separately (two transactions) off the machine, but specifically selected seats next to each other. When our tickets were printed, we were shocked to find that our seats were not next to each other. We got in and took the seats we chose (not as per ticket), believing that it was a technical fault. Soon after, the rightful occupants came and we had to move to the front few rows that were not occupied. I will be sticking to my usual Shepherds Bush Vue (at West 12 shopping centre, not the Westfield one). Much much smaller crowds, friendlier staff, and free seating. read more

My boyfriend and I went to go see a 3D movie at the Vue Cinemas here. Overall, I was impressed at how clean the theatre was (floors weren't sticky and washrooms didn't reek?! WHAAAT?) and very convenient that it was in Westfield as well, so you could definitely meander about instead of sticking around in the neon light loungey area. Definitely buy your tickets several hours in advance, when we got there at 5PM the tickets for 7:30 and 8PM were already sold out, so we're glad we came in advance. (note that's for a Saturday night) Note: that unlike the US/Canada, the seats at the back are not the best seats -next time I'm definitely going for the VIP seats in the centre. In addition, the seats are definitely made for tall people (let's say 5'10" and above). My back was killing me when I left because the ergonomics were all funny. Also - the theatre that we were in - number 7, the higher up you sat the hotter it was (I suspect that it had to do with the proximity to the projector) And lastly - not sure if I'm out of shape or not - but I was actually getting winded walking up to the seats at the top of the theatre! Definitely make sure you get your concessions and use the bathroom first before sitting down. read more

Definitely the best cinema in London hands down, picture size , quality and sound brilliant, I have been to Odeon leicester Sq and it's not a patch on this place. Its probably so good because it's a very new cinema and has plenty of space to add to the experience there is a very tasty Sushi place on the first floor of the mall called YouMeSushi that has some of the best Sushi that you can buy as takeaway. read more
