Having heard a lot of hype about Nando's before ever having gone I think it is somewhat overrated as a whole. Ok, so the food is good but not THAT good. It is just seasoned Chicken after all. Excellent post workout high Protein food though. It is good here though. Best time to go is during the week as it isn't too busy - being in Dockside not many people go there other than for the cinema. The food is pretty good but service could be better. It isn't a waiter service so you go in and choose your own table before then going to the till point and ordering where you also get your own drink, cutlery ect. They do have free refill drinks here though which a lot of places are catching onto now (seeing as it only costs about 2p for a pink of Coke it's about time too!). The Chicken is nice and fresh and I like the fact that the kitchen is open so you can see it being cooked.. if you're close to the till point anyway. Reasonably priced too - even better when it's free. My last visit here I managed to get a few vouchers for whole free chicken. 4 of us went along and with a loyalty card too and got 3 and a half Chickens between us!! (I only had a quarter with salad though - honest!) The staff must have hated us that day! But they were nice enough not to show it. NOTE: If you're vegetarian or want something other than Chicken - don't go here!!! (yes.. a couple of visit's I overheard people moan that they only had Chicken on the menu. Sheesh!). read more

Whenever I'm in england I try to go here. I love their spicy chicken in a pita with pernaise and all the different versions of peri peri sauce. The service has always been good with friendly staff and the food arrives quickly and hot. I find this place works out great if there area few if you. They have a kids menu and they can have non spiced chicken also. Their meals come with a frozen yogurt at the end. I know a few guys that go for the whole chicken (which is massive) and the plate is always empty with no complaints. They also have a couple of good Portuguese wine choices. This is a Portuguese chicken restaurant. It does a variety of chicken dishes, served either on a bone as a breast or in pitta. They do a selection of sides such as chips, coleslaw, garlic bread, olives. The food is lovely and fresh and you can see it being prepared on the grill. You have a selection of sauces from Garlic, Wild Herb, to Hot and Extra Hot. It is a go up and order style restaurant and they will then bring it to your table. Your soft drinks are bottomless. It is a friendly environment and they do an incentive card which you can have stamped every time you go. Which will give you free chicken once a certain amount of stamps. read more

Nando's is great if you are a chicken lover, but not so good if you're not. The chicken is very tasty and is served with good side dishes. The salads are also good in there. It is a friendly environment and this restaurant is always packed out. They have a loyalty card scheme which you get stamped every time you eat there and this gives you various free food items dependent on the number of stamps you get. read more

I love Nando's. The chicken is delicious and you can choose a variety of flavours and combinations. My favourite food here is the chicken burger - add pineapple to make it extra tasty! There is often a queue here so make sure to arrive early, especially if you are going to the cinema afterwards. If you're on a diet they have some delicious but low calorie options here. There is plenty of parking and it's free! You also get unlimited fountain refills here which is a bonus! read more

Nandos is a good value, friendly restaurant, especially good if you like your chicken. Not so good if you don't. They offer a wide range of chicken dishes, from chicken burgers to chicken on the bone. Food usually comes with chips as standard although you can ask for it without. There are also side orders such as coleslaw, salads, chips etc. You can also get desert once you've finished although there really isn't much of a selection here. Another bone to pick is the lack of sauces, this lowers my opinion of Nando's as who doesn't have mayonaise? To get your food you goto the till and tell the operator what you've ordered who will then bring it over to you. Chicken can come with the famous peri-peri sauce or without, it's entirely up to you. Once you've paid for your drinks you can get a refill without paying any more no questions asked. However this is only relevant for soft drinks, for alcohol you pay extra. Queues can often be a problem at nandos' especially at peak times and even non-peak times. So you should be prepared to wait around 10-15 minutes for a table. Some times you may be lucky and get in straight away, however this is not often. Toilets are clean and staff are friendly. read more

Normally get takeaway from here and it's always hot and tasty. Had an issue with my last order where they had run out of mushrooms so they rung me and were extremely apologetic and loaded up both my burgers with other extras for free. Great service! read more

I've been In England for two years and the best customer service here in Kent is Chatham Nandos.... They have this American guy working there well he's from California and he is soooooo awesome...he's bringing some of that customer service that has joy and love like how they do back in the beautiful U.S. of A!!!!!!
