Very reasonable rates, dependable and local to my area were important factors in my decision. Diane provided references which I checked on and the 2 I spoke with recommended her highly. She will walk the dog, feed, play, or do what you need to get done for your pet's care while you are away. Our dogs just love Helene. The cost of her coming by to check on our dogs twice a day and sit with them for a half an hour each time is actually cheaper then taking your pets to a kennel, also your pets do not catch kennel cough on top of that. She will bring in your mail, paper, and write progress notes every time she comes by to check on your pet's needs. Also she follows special care instructions for your pets, when my wife and I go away we call on the pet nanny rather than go to the kennel. Our cat hides from strangers so Alexis didn't get to meet her. I explained that our cat is a little bit wild, a picky eater, gets hairballs, and is weary of strangers. We were worried that our cat would just hide and barely eat. But after the first visit, our cat warmed up to Alexis. We received many photos of our fur baby playing with Alexis and getting her cheeks scratched, as well as daily visit reports. Our cat ate well and enjoyed her new visitor while we were away. We wouldn't hesitate to hire Sits and Walks again. Dependable, trustworthy, super nice and great communicator. Thank you Alexis!
