We hired Rocketship and, after a conference call to go over everything we wanted, Mark and his team stepped up and made our site look absolutely amazing. We got a custom banner, a coupon, a customer form that WORKS, and a bunch of other amazing features. I decided to write this review with some sadness. It's a truthful review. I lost time and an…read moreinvestment. Mike & I met at a networking group. We decided that each other's services would benefit the other. Mike & I decided to start working on a website for my business. Mike asked lots of questions & gives very detailed answers. And though it took some time- he built me a website that was true to me and well "perfect!" However it became obvious after 5 months that something was wrong. I'd get someone mentioning to me that my site was gone or had an error page when they tried to access it or I'd notice when I wanted to add new content! I called Mike and he knew nothing of it! Apparently my website had been down for a month and he hadn't noticed. Well this became a kind of pattern. I was trying to be understanding as it happened several times. But the final straw was when my website was hacked into & boy did they destroy my site & Mike said several other sites too. My website would have to be rebuilt. Mike asked me to resend him some of my info and things I'd like to see in the rebuilt/redone sight. Well this took about 6 months (partly my fault since I was busy). And partly Mikes because he was too. Finally I'm ready to get my website "launched". I asked a few more things of Mike who was busy at the time to make a few more add ins and then launch it! (I readily admit I probably wasn't 100% nice at this point) but regardless- The email response I got back from Michael (Mike) was that he'd do it when he got time. I responded that I'd like "sooner vs later since I've been without a website in almost a year! And I thought I'd been pretty patient with everything. And that simply saying after all the issues I have had with the original website that "he'd do it when he got time was NOT acceptable." Mike's response was "to go find someone else to build me a website. He was done!" And that's it. We had made an arrangement. I paid my portion of that. Then Mike gets upset & leaves me & my business high & dry without finishing the job he agreed to do AND that was his error to begin with! I'm left without a website & no apology from him. The man has no conscious I learned. I'm even more amazed that he's still using the FB page he created for my business on his own website! Really? Who does that after cheating me? Consumers beware. Mike does good work yet his attitude and temper will leave you out cold should you not wait around for him to "have time." I would proceed with caution & ask questions about his servers etc. I would hate more peoples website to be hacked into like I was and then you have nothing because of it. Maybe this is the way things are in the website industry but as a professional myself- I'd be aiming for professionalism & for someone who has integrity.
