Awful customer service. Waited 30 plus minutes just for them to tell us they were out of what we ordered and never even started our order.

Hasty's Restaurant - O-rings...sorry the burger is gone...

Decided on Hasty's as it was practically next door to our motel, The Irish Inn. We had burgers and…read moreonion rings and split the frito pie just to taste it because they are so rare to see on menus anymore and we love 'em. Burgers were really good! Onion rings were of the frozen variety, not bad but in a place like this hand dipped fresh would be so much better. The frito pie was yum! What was really impressive though is how friendly every employee we encountered was. Also super impressive were the young ladies working there, when not busy with customers, they were wiping things down *behind the counter, the drive thru window inside and outside) and just generally keeping the place nice. It has been a long, long time since I've seen this kind of detailed upkeep and busyness by workers in a service business. Great training by the owner and these young ladies will make wonderful employees as they move on to other careers because someone took the time to teach them how to be good employees.... compliments from a hiring manager of many young people who lack this kind of discipline and attention to detail.

No, just basic that you could find just about anywhere BUT! the service was great. Everyone was friendly, we got our food quickly even though it was busy on a Saturday afternoon. There's even a drive thru if you're in a hurry. I would recommend you try for yourself!

Happened to have a to-go steak salad on a Saturday and the steak was absolute bomb. Less so when on the flat-top on a weekday, but was appreciative of the effort and kind service. Chicken fried steak, pie, and tots were also great! Catch the weekend steak if you can, though.

It's in the golf course, and I guess the restaurant is in the club house. When you walk in, there is a pool table room. It's a pretty spacious room for a pool table, not cramped at all like so many other bars. The next room is the bar and restaurant seating. I like the booths along the wall; it adds privacy as you eat. Stormy was our server, and she was absolutely excellent. She was super attentive and eager to answer any questions we had about the menu. We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer, and Stormy brought them to us quickly with homemade ranch dressing. They were nice and hot with just a bit of spice. The pickles were very good and as I'm writing this I'm craving more. For dinner, I ordered cheese fries and a side salad. The salad was good, typical iceberg lettuce, and great croutons. My cheese fries were just OK; I would've liked them more crispy, but the fries themselves looked hand cut with just a bit of skin on them. This restaurant doesn't have much for vegetarians, but Stormy was happy to help with the menu. I think next time I will try some other things on the menu; most of the sides are vegetarian. The bar looks like a full bar. They do offer bottled beverages too. I had a margarita-style bottled drink, and it was pretty good. My friend had a mixed drink, but I'm not sure what it was. I was happy to try this place. It serves very typical dive bar food, but there are also a few things on the menu that isn't typical. I can say the prices are rather high for the area. I'll probably be back sooner rather than later for more fried pickles!
