I also had a dip manicure. I am use to having dip and love that the dip lasts 5-6 weeks without chipping. The product used for dip manicures at Aura does not last and began chipping within 5 days. I had a repair done but after a week all the nails were chipped and cracking. My daughter and a friend also had a dip manicure and we all experienced the same chipping within the first few days. I would not recommend paying the premium price for a dip manicure here. Perhaps the Shellac would be better.

I was quoted FIFTY SEVEN BUCKS (57.00) for a Shellac Pedicure. I pay forty in an expensive neighbourhood in Toronto. So, 17 dollars more is a lot! I went in to have a shellac polish change and a nail fixed and it was 35.00. She did a VERY mediocre job. 3 stars for existing. 2 stars for quality. They have a captive audience here, as there is nothing else around. IF you don't need gel nails/shellac, go get a regular mani-pedi at one of the other local places. The young "owner" is very friendly and nice. However, there's an agenda here to distract you from being gouged. :)
