This year it was his intent to buy me a ring to match, unfortunately the place we bought from last year did not have any rings, Therefore it became our goal to find a ring and we searched high and low in Kona and the vicinity, and no-one had a Larimar ring. A few years ago, I was reading one of my favorite magazines and in the section that recommends…read morestuff for dudes, it mentioned the attractive - but still manly! - inlaid titanium rings produced by the talented staff at Hawaiian Titanium Rings. I am not one for jewelry, and only condone two simple pieces for myself: a wedding ring and a nice timepiece. Being that I was already married with the complementary ring and had a watch that I deeply loved, I just filed it in the memory bank as something very beautiful and awesome. I've always been a huge fan of titanium, and both aforementioned articles are made of such. I enjoy that it has low luster, and is very lightweight. So, when the time came a few months ago that I needed a new wedding ring (due to sizing reasons - more on that later), I pulled forward that filed item from the memory bank. I remembered that the purveyor was based out of the 50th state, and a Google search revealed what I remembered - Hawaiian Titanium Rings. Not having the good fortune to take a trip to Hawaii to shop in-store, I did the next best thing and visited the website, which has very good images of each piece they make, along with options for customization. I made my order for a mango-wood inlaid titanium ring, and it showed up one day early of the three weeks I was told it would take. It is exactly as I ordered, and incredibly beautiful and unique! I've only had it a week, and have received compliments everywhere! For those new to the titanium game: titanium rings cannot be sized, due to the strength of the element. It is very important to know that up front, and to do business with someone, such as Hawaiian Titanium Rings, who has a great "re-sizing" policy. I knew the deal when I signed up for my original wedding ring, but had an extreme and unexpected change in weight over the past year, causing me to need something new. Word to the wise... Thank you to Jerry and all the folks at this special operation for my unique, handsome new ring! I love it!
