She does the best teeth cleanings and annual check ups. Literally, I've never had a better dentist. She also pulled some teeth of mine a few years back and literally didn't feel the same completely painless. Every step that she takes is effortlessly painless. Cleaning was fine but the dentist never came into either of our appointments and we only saw the dental hygienist, which I've never had the dentist not pop in for at least a quick look. The office is in a small shopping center which has its own parking so you do not need to search for a spot. They are currently having one patient at a time so you get their full attention and do not have to wait. The dental hygienist was very professional and was careful when cleaning my teeth. I appreciate that she was very detailed and did not hurt my gums when cleaning. Dr. Guttman was very complementary about my teeth and even through in a joke while examining my teeth. The numbing injection was probably the least painful one I've ever had, and I've been to quite a few dentists over the years prior to finding this office. Abigail, the hygienist, is also so sweet. I…read moreactually like the dentists and think they seem competent, but the way the office is managed has been terrible. In July, I received a large bill for dental work that had been done in April. When I came back for a cleaning and X-rays, they gave me an estimate for additional work that seemed extremely high. I told them it didn't make sense because I was supposed to be in-network. That's when they told me I was not. I checked with my wife, and she had also been billed at out-of-network rates. I called the office, and they said they would issue a refund and send me a corrected estimate using the in-network rates. Two months went by with no refund and no call. I had to follow up again before they finally issued the refund, but I still did not receive the corrected estimate. They told me they would call me back with it, and now another month has passed with no call. There was actually quite a bit more back-and-forth and several other issues along the way, but I'm trying to keep this review as brief as possible. It's too bad because the dentists themselves seem good. The owner really needs to get the administrative side of the practice under control, whether that means better processes or new office management. I would also strongly recommend that patients carefully review their bills and make sure they are being charged correctly. My mistake was assuming the office was handling the insurance and billing properly.
