Prices are pretty decent (could be a few dollars cheaper but inflation!) and the place is always clean/sanitary. Many nail salons like this have bad reviews because people are expecting 100+ dollar manicure at a $40 price. my one suggestion would be that they have another worker there more often. Usually it's just one person (i've only gone in the late afternoon/early evening because I work during the day) She works quickly but doesn't overlook small steps. Both manicure, a no chip fill & predicure were great. Will be returning!

I escorted a friend to her nail appointment and had cause to be in the welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and comforting surroundings of the Ultimate Salon and Spa, located on Main Street for a couple hours. Located at the back of a retail space that occupies a couple tenants (I believe the entire location was once a large restaurant that was subdivided into smaller retail spots when the restaurant closed years back), when you walk in off of Main Street, just head to the back...past the bar and bathrooms....you will find it at the back on your right. Good lighting, earth tones, and dark wood floors, the salon itself is well decorated. Clean lines, not kitchy like often small town salons can feel. The salon itself is also very clean and organized. The ladies that were working at this salon on the day I was there (Lindsay, Rita and Trish if my memory serves me correctly) could not have been more welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Warm and welcoming, but with a classy air of discretion when speaking with you. Lindsay was the nail person addressing my friends nails with a mani and a pedi. Lindsay took the utmost of care with my friends fragile feet and made her feel welcome and comfortable. I say this as a witness, not as a customer. My friends nails looked great upon departure and more importanly, my friend she felt great. The atmosphere in general is light, easy and full of smiles and good humor. Bare Minerals makeup and skincare sold exclusively, Pureology brand hair care (amongst other brands too) and an extensive list of services, the Ultimate Salon & Spa is here to service many beauty service needs. I would absolutely reccomend and will look forward to getting a service done myself the next time I am in town.
