We had Dailey's refinish our old hardwood floors in the dining room. They did a good job and the…read morefloor looked very nice however they are not as good installing "new" floors. We had a brand new floor put in our kitchen when we remodeled our kitchen. They skimped and didn't put in a subfloor under the new wood so when you walk on it there is a creaking sound. Then we had a walkway installed from the kitchen to the back door going out of the great room to the backyard. They didn't measure properly. The walkway is 35" at one end and 36 1/4" at the other end. So, when you look at it the floor goes in and is not straight from one end to the other. Also, when they started that walkway they didn't lay a subfloor AGAIN and the wood split from walking on it because it was not level and they didn't finish the job completely and came back months later to finish so that part of the floor had to be torn up and redone. The finished floor aside from not being straight has some indentations in the wood like it was hit with a hammer and a couple of the split pieces were not removed and replaced and were not smoothed over so you can actually get a splinter if you step on it. They left a stack of the old wood and a bunch of nails on our back patio but charged us on the invoice for removing trash. We trusted them to be in our house while we were at work and when they left they took all of the leftover wood that we paid for PLUS took three full pieces of trim that we purchased at Denoons that were left over that we could've returned to get our money back. I do not recommend them for a new installation.
