The waiter was very nice and ready to help us with anything we wanted. We got onion rings and fried mushrooms as an appetizer and they came out hot and freshly fried, they were very tasty. I got the Bacon Bleu Burger with cole slaw and fries which ended up being very good and cooked to the right temperature. I was a little nervous walking in because there as no one else eating there but the meal was delicious and the service was great as well. Go try it!! The restaurant is open from Wednesday to Friday from 4PM to 9PM.

Played with a coworker the evening we got into town and the twilight rate was $25 unlimited golf. Wasn't sure what to expect but my first impression was good. The golf shop guy was super nice and recommended the restaurant as well while we were in town. The golf course was extremely well taken care of. Greens were in great shape. This course is a gem for Newberry. I would go out of my way to play on this course. The rates were excellent, well under the price of what it's worth. We ended up playing two days in a row, can't wait to golf there again. Now for the food. We ate there the last night in town. The prices are more than what the local bars are but the food is 5 star. I had the fish and chips and it was the best I've had in a long time. The green beans were even worth raving about. Three others on my group had all different meals and all were equally impressive. Oh, and the Long Islands were excellent. Give this place a try when your in the area, whether it's for golf or food, you won't be disappointed.

golfed here while camping in the area. first off - this location is in EST. we were an hour late to…read moreour tee time, oops. also, the couse has a very limited numbered of power carts - something like 10-12. we were able to score a cart even though we were so late and they were able to get us on the course. a majority of the patrons were seniors who had their own custimized power carts that were stored on site. the garage housing these carts was pretty impressive. the course was in good shape - very few dead spots on the fairways. the tee boxes and greens were in great shape. the course itself presented a fair amount of challenges and wasnt a standard course where you pull out driver, short iron and you are on or near the green. the round with card was something like $40/person. be sure to map out this location as we had some issues with finding it on our GPS. give this course a try!
