We were incredibly pleased with how lovely the place is. Great outdoor dining area, and incredibly cosy inside. The staff were incredibly courteous, and the food was just unbelievably good. I'll admit, when I first ordered, I did think that they were a little expensive. However, it turns out that was because I was expecting the food to be of a lower standard. What they brought out to us was worth every penny. This is a fantastic little place, a hidden gem. Worth driving over an hour to go to, seriously.

Super tasty quality food, I noticed that on the menu it even tells you which farm the meat came from, or where the ice cream was made etc. The Greek Lamb and the Gammon are both brilliant. The portions are huge and I'm always left with enough food for another meal but save room for the Holly Bush sundae because you wont ever have a such a selection of tasty locally made ice cream :) The prices are great too, last time I went it was around 30quid for the 2 of us.

Beer is focused on the outstanding Three Tuns beers brewed next door. These our simply outstanding beers, and the traditional cask ale s were in perfect condition. This is a huge plus and actually the main reason why we were here. Food is also excellent. We had outstanding lamb and roast pork belly, with trimmings also cooked perfectly. 5 stars. As time went on we decided that we would like to stay and have dinner here but indoors as it was getting cold. There were 14 of us and they managed to fit us into the restaurant area on the proviso we ordered quickly before the 6:30pm booking arrived and one table had to vacate by 8pm.
