The Nag's Head pub in Thornton is one of two pubs in close proximity to one another that date back to the early nineteenth century (along with The Grapes next door), meaning that some regulars would have been coming to the same pub for a pint for the last two hundred years or so; that's quite a lot of beer.
From the outside, the Nag's Head is definitely one of the most attractive pubs in the local area as its large, red-brick structure suggests a traditional pub with a great sense of history about it. Inside, the design is a little bit more contemporary but interesting nonetheless and there is an abundance of seating available to ensure each drinker and diner is comfortable.
The drinks on offer are standard pub draught lagers and bitters usually that are all available at reasonable prices, and the food is the usual range of pub classics that are all very tasty.
