I shop here because over the years the prices have been consistently good value across the whole range and rather than converting half the shop to non food items like some of its rivals they have stuck to being a grocery shop. This is both commendable and sensible. I go to a supermarket for food and household sundries not a washing machine etc. Of all the supermarkets their fruit and veg section is probably the best and although I get most of my fruit and veg from the market (which is the best) sometimes I run out and don't have time to trek to the market so here is a good substitute. The meat/deli counter is also probably the best for quality and price of all the supermarkets. They often have offers on throughout the store and they are usually very competitive - more often better than asda or tesco - and they have a good range of products to choose from. The alcohol section has a wide selection and again the prices are very keen. The cafe is also the best supermarket cafe in the area. There is a good range to choose from with a selection of special offers and the staff are wonderful - very helpful. The rest of the shop staff are reasonably friendly and helpful with those at the kiosk and deli being very good.
