Recommendation Not recommended. Consider other options where…read moreyour time is equally as valuable as the attorney's time, more compassion is shown, and administrative tasks are not deferred to the client. Consultation Process Review During a consultation, the process was well-structured and followed a standard verbal questionnaire to determine best next steps. Administrative Review It was outlined that the client had full responsibility to obtain their own credit reports and puts the work that is either typically administrative or collaborative fully on the client. A more established firm may have better practices where an attorney or its their administrative resources do this work for you. Professionalism Upon disclosure that I was not willing to do what I believe to be administrative legal work that can typically be included in other attorney's fees, I was abruptly hung up on.

I began my conversation with the another attorney named Ashlie, she was a real treat to speak with. Extremely nice, informative and genuinely seemed to take interest in my case. I scheduled to meet Marc and every things was set into motion. After meeting with Marc I was even more impressed. He is a very down to earth attorney who deals with real people with real problems. He makes you feel like it's not the end of the world in fact his ability to help in law made the process a lot easier and more beneficial to me. I retained him as my council and proceeded forward. The team is very diligent and timely they understand the clients needs and has great communication. They do not over charge people and they make sure you understand the process that must occur. I found them to be very helpful and I am thankful he was the attorney I chose to work with. Since there are so many attorneys now a days it is refreshing to find one who enjoys his work that is not only concerned with money! He is well worth the money and he knows exactly what he talks about and so does Ashley.

Where do I begin.... Damani was my attorney since 2010 as I was sadly a victim to quote a few car…read moreaccidents to which I was no fault. (Maryland drivers are the worst) I only won 1 case out of 5. Permanent Injuries Everytime. When the case settles, it's not due to his expert skill, it's due to the other company not wanting to go forth. He insists on going to court. There's a psychology with it. He works with the other drivers attorney or insurance company to pretend he's fighting for you when he's truly feeding them insider info and throwing the case. I suspect he's getting $$ from them under the table for doing so. It's infuriating. He knows it. Doesn't care. A lot of his communication is games. There were many times I wanted to go to blows with him for doing it. I've cussed him out and put him in his place more times than I can count. I should have gotten a new attorney but I was such a busy business traveler that I didn't have time. I was also in pain and going to therapy sessions thar took all of my money. I was beyond stressed. I spoke to someone he worked with who actually co-signed my complaints. This person was reputable and worked with his other clients. Told me his clients had my same suspicions. The office is disorganized and many times get info wrong it lose what you provided. He lies on itemizations claiming to pay for things you paid for out of pocket or charging for things that never happened, that you provided or overcharging. He especially plays this game if you are a high earning black woman who is single. You've gotta micromanage everything. Staff are incompetent, I had to get records myself. I'd have to call to follow up as no one would communicate court dates nor respect my privacy requests. I'd have to learn from case search, circle back and call them. There is high turn over in his office. You go and everyone looks busy and appearing friendly but it's not until you work with them that makes you realize it's a junk drawer of c list clowns and you have to be the ring leader to get anything done. He has an odd chip on his shoulder regarding black women which he admitted black women clients have similarly of him in the past. Arrogance is high but I guess it should be when you are scheming $$ away from those that are entitled to it. He's won awards but I'm not sure how. I later needed legal counsel and was acquainted with a Rutgers Law grad who works for the NAACP. This wasn't his specialty but he did his research and gave me excellent advise then referred me to his colleague in New York from a prestigious firm who gave me excellent legal advise. I used what I learned from both of these competent high in demand attorneys and got what I was due with no issue. At the end of the day, don't deal with peons. Deal with attorney from excellent schools, in excellent firms with prestigious reputations. Given my position professionally, this is how I function on the norm. I thought he'd be better because... well, all skinfolk ain't kinfolk and I learned it the hardway. Of note: I still am injured. My injuries are permanent and painful. I pay a lot out of pocket to stay afloat. I've made a lot of life adjustments to function. Some of my injuries I don't admit aloud because it's just shameful to admit.
