My wife told Denise while she was preparing our sandwiches that we had just moved to BC & found this place. She asked what I did & where I worked. Denise's eyes lit up. Sure I know that Yankee! Reference due to my wife's strong southern Alabama accent. Denise is one of my favorite people that comes into where I work. Fruits, vegetables, soup bar, cheese galore, huge candy bar with Michigan fudge... Lots of frozen meats and vegetable packs, a chilled dairy room, fresh sausages. Oh, the COFFEE and the OIL section?! Yes, you can taste the different oil flavors. And you can and will find the coffee that suits any taste. I make a 1.5 hour drive to go here every now and then, and it's always worth it. Bring reusable bags to keep your frozen food cold. And don't step in the plant section unless you want to come home with some flowers or a pretty plant, it's too tempting! I'm not saying anymore.
