Meat processing, butcher, get your beef jerky or even some beers at this location. This location is out in the country and unless you live in the town or someone told you about it you would never know about it. Got some of the selection of beef jerky to take home.

I grabbed a steak here. It was good. The place looks a little run down to me. Not really a huge selection for a meat market.

The subs here are not for the faint of heart! It took three meals for me to finish off one. You…read moreknow how sub sandwiches always look in ads, with the meat piled two inches high and a bunch of veggies and cheese to add another couple inches? That's exactly how these are. This place has a fantastic meat and cheese selection, not only for the subs, but in the deli as well. I have also tried some of their steaks, and they were great, and I'm a huge fan of the brats I've gotten there. Great service, cute store, excellent food!

Told my wife we need to find a place where we could get quality meat. We stopped in last week & purchased a flank steak & a couple of smoked pork chops. Those smoked pork chops are on the 4th of July menu this coming Saturday. But the flank steak was OUTSTANDING!!! The lady who helped us was more than friendly (I think a sister of either Kim or Lynn.) This is definitely going to be on our regular places to visit. Everything looked great! Today my wife said she'd like to go there & try one of their sandwiches. I texted her my order. On her way home she asked me if I knew a Denise (last name witheld). My wife told Denise while she was preparing our sandwiches that we had just moved to BC & found this place. She asked what I did & where I worked. Denise's eyes lit up. Sure I know that Yankee! Reference due to my wife's strong southern Alabama accent. Denise is one of my favorite people that comes into where I work. She always makes my day when she comes in & today made my wife's day..ALONG WITH A SUPERB SANDWICH!!! I can't recommend this place high enough! Fantastic meats, homemade fixin's & a friendly customer oriented atmosphere makes Kim & Lynn's well worth the stop. Where else could you get such fine products, service & employees that make you look good to your wife??? Kent M (VirgilDorkmundur)

Gosh, I didn't know what I was missing. This is a true IYKYK! Once you have visited Horrocks, you will return for life. This is a magnificent, rustic, unique, expansive establishment that offers a cornucopia of items. From floral, to meats, cheeses, wine, speciality items, fruits, snacks, vegetables, hard-to-find items and more. There is so much more! Things that stood out even though I loved everything about this place: -the vast selection of canisters of olive oils -the vast array of different varieties of balsamic vinegars (amazing!) -house made items in every area -house made popcorn with so many flavors, so fresh. -the many, many homemade soups: probably around 20 different kinds and delicious. -a ramen bar, what? -bakery -pizzeria -exotic fruits and vegetables and regulars ones too -the wine bar: sip while you shop. -house-made sausages and cheeses -house-made jams, jellies, local honey -extensive variety of spices, herbs, flour and grains - great service, very helpful. This is a must try and truly a destination. I cannot wait to shop and browse here again!

Picture a massive Costco sized store, but instead of big brand bulk items, it's local delicious specialty food items. You can find interesting things here. I recommend you set aside two hours to explore. I'm serious. They have a bar that also includes non-alcoholic beverages and the shopping carts include a cup holder. Where to start though? Fruits, vegetables, soup bar, cheese galore, huge candy bar with Michigan fudge... Lots of frozen meats and vegetable packs, a chilled dairy room, fresh sausages. Oh, the COFFEE and the OIL section?! Yes, you can taste the different oil flavors. And you can and will find the coffee that suits any taste. I make a 1.5 hour drive to go here every now and then, and it's always worth it. Bring reusable bags to keep your frozen food cold. And don't step in the plant section unless you want to come home with some flowers or a pretty plant, it's too tempting! I'm not saying anymore.
