As a liberal art student at La Tech, I notice Fine Line is advertised as the go to place to get supplies and Fine Line has really embraced that role. They order extras if they know a class is doing a particular project and needs specific supplies. They also have student discounts and a general shopper reward program (rewards include discounts on future purchases, tshirt, a customized tumbler cup, 8gb flash drive, etc) But another note is that they are pricey on certain things. Because of their convince and almost monopoly in Ruston, they get to choose prices at their own accord. And they are a locally owned business which makes it even harder for them to have the same prices a chain supply store would have: the closest being Michaels and Hobby Lobby in Monroe about 30 min away.

I've been waiting to post this review until I could attach a photo, but I still haven't gotten the tech connect down to make that happen. I will post the photo later. (The tree of life I'm talking about is on his site - mine is just lighter, as it is limestone.) Wesley sent photos of the work as it progressed so I was always aware of where we were at and the progression of my piece. He was an absolute delight to work with - I'm in California, but he wrapped the piece really well and shipped it to me. It arrived in perfect condition and looks just beautiful! In the piece, he carved 6 hearts - one for each of my family members, so it has a lot of sentimental value as well as being just spectacular! I get compliments every time someone sees it. I recommend Wesley very highly - trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Looked on Amazon, Hobby Lobby, Michael's, and on various websites. Art Forever's custom frame was $200 cheaper than the frame we almost bought online. It was ready within 24 hours, while Hobby Lobby would've taken 2 weeks minimum. Extremely happy with the service and the frame looks beautiful, would definitely recommend! (Note that if you've never bought a large frame before, they are expensive; do not expect a custom frame to be cheap, but after driving all around town and looking online, I guarantee this is the best price you will find)
