I came in for a temporary crown and was told by Joel that the gap left between the crown and my gum was "to help remove it later." Since then, I've had cuts all over my mouth from the crown rubbing against my cheek. It feels way too big, and I can barely eat or speak without irritation. My chart clearly shows I have anxiety, and this whole experience has only made it worse. I no longer feel safe going back. I'm scared and in pain, and I shouldn't have to feel like this after what was supposed to be routine dental care. I'm now being forced to go elsewhere to fix something they should have done right in the first place. Please take patient concerns seriously. read more

Dr Gueta's office, the name was left in 1980 since the Service today leaves a lot to be desired, all the people who leave there have problems with this office, that is why I do not recommend that Doctor, the only good thing he has there is the receptionist who I do not know what your name is and Dr. Angie, who is an excellent doctor, otherwise, I do not recommend that office, stay away from that office, I hope this tribe is useful to people. read more

I had four fillings done here, and afterward I was in severe pain because the dentist went so deep that it damaged the nerves, and now I need a root canal. Even though I have a benefits card that covers root canals and crowns, they still tried to charge me. I called my medical benefits provider and confirmed these treatments are fully covered. I won't be coming back to this place ever again. i heard good things about the dentist but their office staff is very unprofessional. I think their names are Evelyn and Juan or something but they were rude overall but extremely rude to me. I felt that because my kid and I were the few non- Latinos there that they didn't pay attention to us or make us feel welcome. I also didn't like the way they spoke to other staff in the office. I booked an appointment for teeth cleaning and from the moment of booking my appointment to the end the experience and service was exceptionally amazing. The staff and doctors are friendly and helpful. I would recommend making an appointment before hand but they also do walk ins. WORST PLACE TO GET YOUR TEETH TREATED. Most dental facilities will fill your cavities with porcelain(white filling) for moral health reasons AND NOT SILVER FILLINGS but this place fills your cavities with silver EVERYTIME; which is known as amalgam and contains approximately 50% elemental mercury. THE SILVER FILLINGS ARE BAD FOR YOU BECAUSE MERCURY IS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE INGESTED BUT THESE PEOPLE PURPOSELY DO IT BECAUSE IT IS CHEAPER. Ever since Dr.Gettas passed away, they had attempted to cut down to make more of an income. I recommend finding some where else to get treated and if you have silver fill in, please look into having it replaced with porcelain fillings. I asked them to remove my silver and replace it with porcelain and they refused, that was terrible customer service and their teeth cleaning is 7/10 on a good day. Recently got my wisdom tooth removed at this this location. My overall experience was GREAT! I had been with tremendous tooth pain for the past 3 days and decided to give the office a call in hopes of getting an appointment soon. The receptionist was very kind and helpful from the initial appointment set up over the phone, to the paper work the very next day for the in office visit. The whole staff was friendly and helpful. Tooth extraction was not that bad, keep in mind the procedure that was performed,there will be some pain but tolerable. Also, we are still going through a pandemic so the wait may be long but one has to understand the circumstances and just be patient. I highly recommend this dental office. My daughter and I were in the park many years ago, and I noticed she was not playing with the other kids. I asked her why, and she replied "Mom, because my tooth hurts." This dental office is pretty legit. I was looking for a doctor who has great and extensive experience within dental work and I came across this small office. I didn't trust it at first due to their appearance, but surely enough their service was tremendous as I walked in to set an appointment for some dental work. Then, after my appointment the doctor attended me with great pleasure reassured I was going to feel nothing through their operation. I've been coming here for over 10 years, but recently went for a clean up and filling.. You know.. The usual. The filling they gave me was not filled properly and I still had a huge hole. My dad only just told me that went he went to Dr. Gettas medical office in 2019, he'd gone in to have one tooth removed, but they also ended up filing down the next tooth. They did not tell him they would be filing down the next tooth, and they did not tell him he needed a crown. They did not put a temporary on that tooth, so when he was eating, he broke the tooth, and he had to go back to have that one also removed. When my dad told me this last week, I was furious. So, I called the office and I asked to have a copy of the dental record sent to me, my dad was with me on the line. The lady on the phone kept transferring me, and then they would hang up. I kept calling them, and I would always get someone else on the phone, and they would tell me my dad had no right to his medical record because of HIPAA. These people are so stupid, they don't even know that HIPAA actually guarantees my dad a copy of his medical record. They have thus far refused my dad any copy of his dental record. I am trying to find the name of the dentist that saw my dad so that I can file a report against him. I have also sent for my dads Medi-cal records directly from Medi-cal, so that maybe I can find the dentist name that way. read more

Dr. Gettas is an absolute gem. There are some doctors who just treat you like just another patient but then you have a doctor like Gettas who pays attention to you and properly advices you on your treatment on a one to one level. She also takes care of my kids and they are no longer afraid of going to the dentist. read more

Waited for 3 hours to be seen. Beware of the hidden fees they charge after you have left. I got charged for a simple cleaning and xray which was actually covered by my insurance. I don't normally write reviews but after my experience here for the past years, I felt compelled to do one. One visit after the other, this place kept disappointing me. I gave this place many opportunities throughout this year but to no avail. It's unfortunate how throughout the time this office's integrity has gone down. I remember coming to this dentist since I was 5 and after 15 years the staff has changed and the service has too. Don't get me wrong the Dr's are great, but the rest of the staff including the receptionists are not approachable or amiable. They make it very difficult to come back and in actually make it a disservice to the place. Making an appointment both over the phone and in person is even a struggle. My family and I have been coming to see the regular dentist and the orthodontist and thankfully our time with braces has come to an end. We were satisfied with the end result and the Dr was great, I'm just saddened at the professionalism that the staff carries, a poor one. read more
