Nabbens Naturreservat is a hop-skip from my MIL's home... while it's not an easy trek, it's a mildly vigorous walk to Klötet, a cliffside bathing spot in Arild. The bathing spot is not a "public bath," but more of a spot to swim & there's a raft anchored nearby (maybe 75 ft.) for rest or sunning, & enjoying Skålderviken's scenic views. There are stairs leading down to the ocean/sea pool.
Not too far away, you can head south & you'll find a couple of places for lunch, coffee, & ice cream (seasonal for the summer). On our most recent trip, we found a "little free library" (small structure that allows you to take a book & leave a book). There's a bus stop that's about 150 meters from the beach at the Arild bus station. And if you're looking for nearby lodging, there's 2 options: Strand Hotel & Rusthållargården.
Head further south to Tussan, another bathing spot/swimming area, located in the picturesque fishing village of Arild, known for its idyllic & charming atmosphere. It's a popular spot for both locals & tourists, particularly those who enjoy swimming, kayaking, & exploring the scenic Kullaberg peninsula.
When the weather is nice & sunny, Klötet is hustling & bustling with families, couples, & friends taking a dip in the cool ocean, or fishing for crabs, shrimps, fishes, & even jellyfishes. Check out our videos of recent catches. We also saw beautiful butterflies & this brilliant orange & black caterpillar that will eventually evolve into a goat moth.
Nabbens Naturreservat is one of our favorite daily activities to enjoy nature & have a relaxing bath, & I'm sure you'll feel the same... wish you were here! Ha kul! read more
