Best massage ever. EVER! I loved my masseuse so much I immediately booked a followup appointment. I felt like Drama from Entourage. I wanted to bring her with me everywhere. The space is clean, but there isn't much else to say about it. It's a typical salon. I wish we had more true spas around here. Really though, I want a Japanese bathhouse. I want to give N2SKIN a 3.5 but Yelp does not allow that so Im opting for 3 stars.The parking situation is unfortunate and you have to park in a paid lot or find parking along the street. If you've ever driven along Demonbreun you will understand that street parking is not an easy find. I had a 1 hour massage for $100, which I believe is pretty standard for Nashville prices. After parking I got to N2SKIN a little early for my 4 o'clock appointment. I waited for almost 30 minutes. This was kind of annoying since I had somewhere to be later, but they brought me out a glass of wine so I tried to just relax and not be annoyed. Overall my massage was pretty good, not the best ever but definitely not bad. My biggest complaints were that the room was kind of cold, and when you're trying to escape a cold Nashville winter, the last thing you want is a cold room. Then to top off the cold room the masseuse left the towel that was originally in hot water sitting on my back for a long time in which case it became ice cold. Cold and massages do not mix. I'll probably go somewhere else for my next massage because while everything was good, I have a feeling Nashville offers better. read more

I found out about N2Skin through a SpaBuzz promotion and am so glad I bought the coupon! I was able to visit 3 times for a facial, microdermabrasion, and 30 minute massage. I'm sometimes nervous visiting a spa but found N2Skin's atmosphere comforting and inviting. The front is actually a small shop with all kinds of unique jewelry, boutique make up and skin products, and other trinkets perfect for gift - giving. I've actually returned on a couple of occasions just to find an interesting piece of jewelry for Mother's Day or a friend's birthday. The service was also wonderful. I believe they've since moved, but when they were at the Edgehill Village location the woman behind the desk offered me a parking pass so I would not have to pay for parking while I was at the spa. Brittany was very nice and did a great job with the facial and microdermabrasion. It was my first time with both treatments and I left feeling perfectly peeled and relaxed. The massage was also very nice. If I had the cash I would have paid for another 30 minutes! I will definitely go back for shopping and, hopefully, spa treatments. So, I had my first massage ever last week at N2skin and it was MARVELOUS!. Linda is the lady who did my massage. She has over 20 years experience and was EXCELLENT! She's very kind and welcoming and makes you feel very comfortable, especially if you've never had a massage before. I had a 60 minute sessions and could not believe how much more relaxed and well feeling it left me. She did a deep tissue massage on my neck, back, shoulders, arms and then a light massage on the chest and abdomen. She generates such power for such a small lady, yet, her touch was so smooth and soothing it was not painful at all. She's very conscious about the pressure she uses and invites you to voice your preferences at any time. The rates are great and the entire staff is excellent. They have lots of different products, trinkets, and jewelry for sale yet they don't hound you to buy. I'll definitely be going back many more times! I just started going to N2Skin a couple of months ago but have already been back multiple times. Cari Miller is the esthetician I see and she provides me with three wonderful services. She has given me two types of facials, microdermabrasion and acid treatment. She also waxes perfectly, no pain and she has two different types of wax. The service most exciting has to be the eye lash extensions she does. The pricing is very competitive and they last for a very long time. I highly recommend N2Skin and Cari to anyone who needs these type of services. N2Skin also does long term hair removal, i haven't tried these treatments yet but most likely will in the future. read more

I was a little worried to try this place because I'm not from the area. I tried it because of the Yelp reviews and I am so beyond happy I did. I have had facials all across the world and my facial here by Cari was the best ever. She listened to exactly what I wanted and made me feel so comfortable. I was in the neighborhood for lunch and popped in to see if they had any time available for a facial. Lucky for me, there had just been a cancellation and I was able to book an appointment right after lunch. The place is cute and bright, the staff are gracious and accommodating. The facial room was quiet, dark, and cozy. I loved the table and the bedding, all designed to cocoon a person in soft, delicious warmth and comfort. The European facial, with a neck and shoulder massage, was magical. I'm very fortunate at age almost 47, to have few signs of aging. I don't know what kind of miraculous potions Brittany was using, but my face came out looking even younger than normal. My skin was firm, smooth, and radiant; not one blotch from the extraction! I felt totally relaxed and my skin looked and felt absolutely fabulous. I can't wait to take advantage of the other services they offer. The proximity to my work and the excellence of my first experience there make this place a "must-go" for me. While they have an excellent selection of products available for purchase, there was no push to buy, which is extremely appreciated. Spa/salon owners take note: the lack of pressure to purchase something makes me more inclined to want to buy, actually. Highly recommended! read more

I work right down the street from N2SKIN and thought ' wow it would be awesome to go get a facial during lunch and relax a little' so that's what I did. Offered a beverage upon my arrival the cute little botique-ish spa was very clean and cute. Brittany was super sweet and friendly and asked if I had any skin issues to talk about. I like it when someone doesn't talk too much during a spa treatment - cause look I'm sure I could learn something but I don't really want to. Sweet music playing in the background and the treatment was great. Products gave me no issues and I feel refreshed. I thought the price was comparable to other spas. TIP: Parking can be an issue but if you're downtown or near music row a walk isn't too bad TIP: Sign up for their email updates. They often have discounts on treatments. N2Skin is located in trendy Edgehill Village on the second floor of the renovated industrial building. I was a bit hesitant about venturing in after perusing their web site which is completely devoid of style or professionalism, but the spa itself is much nicer. They have two laser hair removal rooms and another room where they do the massages and other spa treatments. The waiting room has a small gift shop which features fun and inexpensive costume jewelry alongside the requisite beauty products. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. They try to schedule appointments far enough apart that customers don't have to wait around, but if for some reason you still have to the receptionist offers friendly conversation to pass the time. I would probably go somewhere with a more soothing atmosphere for a massage, but if you're in the market for hair removal this is a great alternative to the more sterile, drab environments offered by others. read more

I came here yesterday for a facial. It's right across the street from Taco Mamacita. I just popped in after lunch curious about the prices and if I could schedule a facial that afternoon after lunch. Reception was super helpful, and booked me for that afternoon. When you walk in you would not think that the place is as big as it is, but it kind of just keeps going! It's a cute place. For me, even a mediocre spa experience can be pretty great, I mean you are at a spa! Here is why N2Skin is awesome: 1. Prices are at least $10-20 less than other spas I have checked out in Nashville 2. During your facial you will also get a shoulder/neck massage at no charge. This was absolutely HEAVENLY and an added perk I would have paid extra for, but they won me over with that. 3. They use Jan Marini products which are amazing. 4. At the end of the facial, they do some sort of high frequency treatment to your face. As I was leaving, my facialist asked if I wanted to come in 2 days and get the treatment really quickly before the weekend to make sure my skin stayed fresh throughout the weekend. By far the best electrolysis I have had in Nashville. Amy is fantastic. I called for an appointment and they were able to squeeze me in the next day. They will do thermolysis or the blend depending on your preference. She's very accurate and you know you have found a good electrologist when they zap your hair and it slides out without any tug. As a massage connoisseur all i can say is fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. After 10 days on the road and sleeping in a multitude of hotels w/ not so great pillows, I was desperate for a deep tissue massage. I made a Saturday appointment just a few days before (based on these Yelp reviews) and was easily scheduled. I arrived on time and greeted with a huge smile and Southern welcome from Michael, my therapist. Our pre-massage discussion was thorough as he was concerned about any injuries, sensitive areas, focus point, energy level and so on. This was really key as I am post-knee surgery and have a sensitive lower-back.Once we got underway it took me a while to "settle my mind," but it wasn't long before I was uber relaxed and almost asleep (which I never do). The massage was fantastic - and I am a massage snob! What's more, the spa was clean, and the prices were competitive. All in all a great way to spend a Saturday morning! I really enjoyed my massage here. I have had back pains in the past due to agressive basketball playing, like I recently went up for a rebound and a "friend" knocket my feet out from under me, so my back doesn't always feel so great. I woke up on Saturday and decided I needed a massage that day! I called around and N2SKIN was able to work me in due to a cancellation. I got a 60 min Swedish from Chelsea, and it was amazing. She concentrated on the areas I told her I needed most, while not neglecting the rest. The bed was a little uncomfortable at first, but I quickly forgot about that. I visited here on Friday in a desperate attempt to revive my skin after many failed attempts to get it back to normal. I've been dealing with certain things things I've never had to deal with and there was something always going on with my skin. I luckily got a last minute appt with brittany and I could not be happier with her work. She is extremely intelligent, and gave me great tips and advice for at home care. I left there with my skin looking incredible, despite my blemishes that were already present which looked better but just red from the extractions. I rarely post reviews on-line but my experiences with N2skin have inspired me to do so. I am an African American man who use to (notice the phrase "use to") suffer from a condition called Pseudofolliculitis Barbe; also known as razor bumps. This is a common condition in people of color who have highly, curly hair that become ingrown and inflamed. As a result, I had VERY UNSIGHTLY bumps on my face, head, and neck. In addition to being unsightly, these bumps were also itchy and painful. Over a course of several years, I spent thousands on dermatologist visits and various skin treatment products. Nothing worked. I finally decided to try laser hair removal and was referred by one of my Dermatologists, to Jennifer, at N2skin. During my consultation, Jennifer was very polite and knowledgeable as she explained the procedure and what all to expect. Two weeks following my initial treatment, I noticed a TREMENDOUS difference (Jennifer predicted I would) in my appearance. I couldn't believe it! The areas that were irritated with bumps were almost completely clear! Today, years after that first consultation and treatment...I am still a loyal and proud customer/friend of N2skin. I had a classic european facial which included a neck and shoulder massage. She really took her time (esp. with extractions).
