Right at the end, when we found the door was cut to the wrong size at the factory, Steve advocated for us and secured a brand new door at no extra cost. Steve is remarkably punctual and dedicated to his craft. He maintains constant communication, ensuring we're promptly informed of any developments. His pricing is consistently fair, and his work exemplifies quality and precision. Steve consistently seeks to address challenges in the most effective manner. When we faced an issue with rotten siding, he was the sole contractor to propose fixing the flashing above the siding, preventing any future problems. It's this level of attention to detail and commitment that truly distinguishes him. His quotes are always fair, and very accurate. If the price goes up, he asks first and offers a variety of solutions. If the price goes down, he's always returned the excess at the end. I'd trust Steve for any project at my house, big or small. It was his explanation of the scope of work, and how they would ensure a quality finished product was the deciding factor in my choosing them, even though they were not the lowest price. I made a couple of changes between when I agreed to the deal and when they actually came to install. They were right there to help and get me exactly what I wanted. They were able to get our project done more than a week ahead of the promised time frame and the finished product looks amazing. I took the day off of work to ensure I was home and able to visually show him where we desired the fence to be placed. Tim arrived at 10:30am and after discussing the type of fence that best suited our needs, he assured me he would get back to us within a few days with an estimate and start date for some time in September (due to their schedule). Fast forward to today, August 31st, and we have not heard back from him or anyone at Finnegan Fence! Not one email, call, text message - NOTHING! We were completely left hanging. Essentially ghosted by a company that appeared to be reputable. Their actions have shown an utter disregard for the people who show interest in their services, as well as Tim's blatant disrespect for my time and effort in rearranging my work schedule. Just had our fence installed, great work!…read more A little more info: we went through Lowe's (or was it Home Depot, it was so long ago I honestly can't remember) back in April/May. We knew it was going to be a long wait, so we were happy when we got the email that it was finally our turn for install! The three guys that did our install were very professional and worked very hard. They were here during the hottest week of August, so I give them huge props for getting everything done. They did some small bush and tree removal before the fence install. They got rid of all the debris, left the yard in great condition when they left, and most importantly, the fence looks great! We have some other projects on our dreamboats - we will definitely be contacting them again for their help!

We were going to just have the existing red brick walkway in front of the house leveled, but after seeing what he did behind the garage we changed our mind and had Al replace the short walkway with the same paving blocks. The much longer front walk will be done the same way in the Spring. Even though we changed the project mid-stream, Al was great about it and rolled with the changes.
