Sake flight on the 4th floor

How did I not know this place existed?! THANK YOU YELP ELITE (aka Jessica)! Rooftop bar vibes and sake flights? Yes, please. Everyone who works here has the chillest of vibes. I'm only going to say this once...LIVE MUSIC AT 1pm on Fridays in the lounge AND they make lavender matcha lattes. I lied. I'm saying it again for the people on the back. LAVENDER MATCHA LATTES Their movie viewing room is a dream. Comfy chairs, a private viewing of the Nö founder and producer's movie - a Needle in a Timestack. It's black mirror meets romantic science fiction - such a great film and a phenomenal community. In case you didn't Nö (see what I did there) Nö Studios derives from the word play between a rejection artists are so often told, with, no ft, the Sino-Japanese root word for "skill" or "talent". Thank you Milwaukee native, John Ridley, for creating this collaborative workspace, hybrid experience platform, and social community performance stage, café bar, gallery, and rooftop lounge and deck. I met some wonderful people, already bought a "socialize with purpose" crew neck, and I will be back.

Sake flights - Six small glass cups filled with sake are arranged on a rectangular wooden tasting tray with circular cutouts, placed on a textured red table. A person wearing a beige sweater is partially visible in the background, sitting at the table. The setting appears to be indoors, possibly during a sake tasting event at Nō Studios in Milwaukee, WI.

I attended a Yelp Elite event at no studios in 2022 and was in awe of the place, especially the rooftop bar. Their bar menu has a bunch of different types of sake to choose from. I went to this event as a Sake-tolerator and came out as a changed woman. As a part of the event, we were given complimentary sake flights which allowed me to give the different options a shot. The 'Hou Hou Shu Blue Clouds' sake was my top pick of the evening. It was creamy and sweet, and left me wanting more!!! I highly recommend everyone tries it out!

Two women are smiling and taking a selfie in an indoor setting, likely a restaurant or cafe, with wooden vertical slats and ceiling lights visible in the background. One woman has shoulder-length reddish hair, and the other has short gray hair and glasses. They appear to be enjoying their time together.

A great vibe in this setting! The sake bar is so amazing I can't wait to return to try the cafe. I loved the cushy recliners in the screening room, it took movie viewing to a whole new level. Special shout out to the security guard, he was super-friendly and a great welcome to the space.

This place is fairly new and still under minor construction. Don't worry it is still open during construction. This building houses business offices for entrepreneurs who are in the performing arts business. The lower level of the building has a theater room that seats 50 (rough guesstimate). They are currently screening free movies by local filmmakers. I'm not sure of the schedule of the movies but I believe you can find it on their website. There is a bar lounge that currently only accepts debit / credit cards (they do not accept cash). Also there is a large open lounge area that has been used for art shows, Meet and Greets of local book authors, networking and various business events. On floors 2 & 3 you will find the business offices. This Summer (weather permitting) the rooftop bar/lounge will open. This will make a great place for nice view of the downtown area and cocktails on a nice summer day. It is very hip and trendy and the rehab of the building is tastefully done. I love the old brick in the building. It screams Old Milwaukee. If you are interested in any of the artwork on the walls most of them are by local artist and are for sale. Go and enjoy this place for any event they have to offer you will enjoy it.

Angry?! I was both. I finally called to ask if the hours had changed. It's not that the hours have changed, per say, but the business has changed. The New business model is event space only and no longer open to the public. Whilst this makes me incredibly sad as that was my hidden spot and the only champagne bar in Milwaukee it's bittersweet because of course a great success for the business in that they have enough event reservations to sustain it alone. Will someone else please open a champagne bar? (with bigger glasses -- now I know I'm asking too much!) Cuvee was one of my places... my hidden places to take people for the first time because I always knew 9 times out of 10 no one knew about it. The access to the building from the street was a complete mystery and an adventure on it's own as people would ask: "Where are you taking me". Silence I would remain... for I didn't want to take away from the journey. Oh and also, I quite simply love, love, love champagne. My only issue with champagne is the tiny, skinny little glass that it comes in. Makes me sad just thinking about the littleness of a champagne glass... *tears up*

When I arrived, 10 min early, the elevator was locked to reach that floor. I called twice and went to voicemail and also emailed to let them know I was waiting. After waiting 15-20 min after our scheduled time we asked another vendor in the building if they had any access to that floor or another phone number for us and we were informed that when a floor is locked that means no one is present in the space. It's been hours and I still haven't heard back... Extremely frustrated with the lack of service and shocked that I was willing to spend so much money on a place with such poor regard for their guests.
