Abensberg is a quaint village in the midst of Bavaria, and many of the locals consider the huge gold tower of the Kuchlbauer to be an eyesore. I would agree with them because the colorful and vibrant architecture would look less alien in a bigger town like Regensberg or Munich. I did the entire tour a few years back so I don't remember many details but it was all in German. They do no tours in other languages. I also remember it being very random and unrelated to the brewing process at times. The view from the top of the tower is beautiful. The Biergarten is open to anyone whether you've done the tour or not, and the prices are great! They brew very good beer, and the food they serve is yummy also. I had the Caprese Salad and the mozzarella was super fresh. If you're driving through Bavaria, stop by! The locals and friendly and the beer is great.

Place is well organized, with guided tours. We didnt find the information in english, but girls on the reception were kind enough to give us the information. As we came long after guided tour, we just enjoyed nice beer and a pratzel right under the tour. The iconic white beer was absolutely delicious and it was 2,5 EUR it definitely put a smile on our faces. Whole area is beautifully done itno great detail. There are so many things to look at! I would recommend this stop to all architecure lovers, beer lovers and kids, because this is so colorful and shiny, they will definitely remember it and it will become a nice highlight of the trip.

I stopped for a coffee and I ended up having lunch and something to eat on the way. The waitress are young and extremely nice. They acutely changed my opinion about German people. One of the young waitress noticed that I'm foreigner, so she asked me if I need to use the WiFi. Also, she was nice enough to chat with me. Also, I would like to mention the young boy who was busy fixing the door with positive energy. So, if you're around you must visit.
