City museums are always pretty awesome, even if they aren't, simply because they highlight totally bizarre histories about seemingly uninteresting places and make them unique.
Mölndals Stadsmuseum is no exception to this rule. During my visit last winter, there was an exhibition on life in Sweden in the 70s. This was pretty alright, but what I liked best is the history of the building itself: it was once a sock/stocking factory. It's also nice to eat lunch in the adjoining restaurant or wander the grounds.
The best part? The museum is free! So if you have an hour to kill and want to see some neat things and learn a little something, check it out. read more
