She was extremely friendly, responsive, flexible, and truly made our day. Our wedding ceremony and reception venues were about 20 minutes away from each other, and each only gave us 3-4 hours for setup before the events. Sam worked genuine magic behind the scenes coordinating with vendors at both locations to make them absolutely perfect, and handled my potentially "type-A" moments with grace. We are the first in of our siblings/friends to get married, so she was also in charge of teaching about 20 people how to walk down the aisle and what to do during the ceremony and it went so smoothly!

My wedding was August 16, 2026 at the Edmonds Waterfront Center…read more Listen to me when I tell you -- THIS THING COULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED WITHOUT THE HELP OF SAM!!! YOU NEED TO BOOK HER!!! I booked about eight months in advance for a day coordinator and we started communication about 2 months before the wedding. During that meeting I had what I would call the "outline" of a plan, and had booked the major items like (1) venue, (2) dj, (3) caterer, (4) photographer. But the actual plan that day was still pretty loose. On our first meeting, Sam drove all the way from Kent up to Woodinville to have a 4 hour in-person meeting with me and my husband to hash out the details. In the weeks leading up to the actual event I would go on to change that timeline like 4-5 times and Sam didn't bat an eye. She came with me to do a walkthrough of the event space and meet with the venue manager. She and I would communicate over text, email, and sometimes FaceTime. Sometimes I would even send her videos of things I was making last minute lol. This was all included and I had only booked a day-of coordinator. ON THE DAY ITSELF: She came to the hotel we were getting ready at to grab the decor items (which let me tell you I pretty much had no idea how they were supposed to look--I bought some random stuff off Amazon, Etsy, and antique shops, threw it in a box and handed it to her). I will note if you have anything heavy to have your husband and his friends move it, we had a few heavy items that we made like an altar piece. Then while we were getting ready and taking photos, she was setting everything up. Like everything, she just put it together and made it work. When we arrived to the venue, she arranged everything and everyone in my bridal party so I wasn't even thinking about anything. She brought me and my husband water. During the ceremony she was managing the catering timeline and the dj, all while getting "behind the scenes" shots of everything while not getting in the way of the photographer. After the ceremony, she had drinks ready for me and my husband. She brought snacks over to me and my husband while we were getting photos during the cocktail hour. She managed the timeline so I wasn't even thinking about "what time is it, do we need to start heading in?" She had drinks ready for us when we came in!! Throughout dinner and karaoke, she was just constantly on it, and we had a hard out by 11 (or else the venue would continue to charge us), and she had everything wrapped up and in our cars by 10:45. IT WAS JUST SO ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ONE OF MY MOST PRECIOUS MEMORIES AND TRULY MY DREAM COME TRUE!!!! THANK YOU SAM FOR EVERYTHING!!! BOOK THIS GIRL!!

That ended up being a great decision because we got to enjoy her words on the wedding day right along with our guests, and feel touched by what she said. Several people approached me after the ceremony stating they were surprised to learn Yadira was an officiant we hired off the internet--they thought she must be a friend, because she knew our relationship well and spoke so warm heartedly during the ceremony. I emailed her immediately as our wedding was less than two months away. We were also getting married on a Monday and hoped she would be able to accommodate this random day of the week. She was quick to reply and mentioned she has a teaching obligation on Mondays in San Francisco, but would try to see what she could work out. In the mean time we set up an initial meeting via Skype. At the time we were living in Washington DC. We were nervous at first, but Leslie's warmth set us at ease and it soon felt like we were chatting with an old friend. She explained her process and mentioned that she could help us customize our ceremony how ever we'd like. For us the ceremony is the most important part of any wedding day. We knew right away that Leslie was the one help us create something that we would remember for the rest of our lives. She emailed her guide/workbook for us to look over. It took us through the typical ceremony options, including all the necessary legal stuff plus special notations where we could customize and add fun bits. The guide was extremely helpful as we hadn't the foggiest idea of how the sequence of a ceremony should go. We took a few days to going over the workbook coming up with ideas and questions for our next meeting. At this point we were unsure of Leslie availability, but within a few days we got the green light!! Yay! In our second Skype meeting we went through the workbook, questions, and our ideas. We finally met with her in person the day before our wedding to go over final details. We didn't have a ceremony rehearsal so we met at this funky little spot for tea. It was a wonderful and calming experience for my husband and I to break away from the wedding guests and just relax and chat with her!! Leslie's presence is warm and inviting. Her delivery is soothing, and professional. It was so much more than "i do", and "kiss the bride". We were able to included a quote and poem from Dr Seuss, plus one of our favorite Led Zeppelin songs that was read by my husbands eldest sister. We had an afternoon ceremony that took place at Muir Beach Overlook on a breezy September day in front of 24 our closest family and friends. It really felt perfect...if "I do" say so myself. I cannot recommend Leslie enough. If you're looking for someone to preform a memorable and meaningful ceremony she is the one. She will care about you and guide you in creating a one of a kind moment that will represent each of you. I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. Do yourself a favor and call Leslie. You'll be glad you did.
