We had driven 8 hours already today and still have 9 more tomorrow. My husband found this place on yelp and since I was desperate I thought I'd go for it. I was pleasantly surprised. Walked in and had no idea I was in a strip mall. The past few spas I have been to did have the nice bonus of the bathrobe and shower facility, but those bonuses come with a hefty price too. Nice seating area, nice waterfall. Heated massage table. Very quite as well. Chelsey the massage therapist was fantastic. I did an hour massage 30 minutes deep and 30 minutes Swedish. She worked magic!! Perfect pressure. Never judge a book by it cover. From the outside- typical strip mall- inside very relaxing and great massage. 88$ for an hour massage. Fine price by me!! The last spa massage I received only a month or two ago 220$ for one hour- guess that was a pricey rental of a bathrobe!! Defiantly recommend!!

Yikes! What a predatory practice for pricing. If the website shows its an introduction rate, they…read moremay charge you more than double, but not tell you till after the service. Massage went from $119 to $273!!! Which is about double the going rate for 90 mins in this area. I would not have booked this if I knew the price upfront. Just go to the Elms for that price! Stay away from this predatory business! I assumed different massage heights locations would give you the introductory rate, which is why I chose intro rate. That is not true, and they wont tell you that until after the service. Avoid this franchise! Update: I called and emailed and they refused to adjust the price claiming the info is in the website. It is not. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. Nowhere does it say intro price is only one time, no matter which location. This is a predatory business and others need to be aware. I double checked the website for where the full price is listed and where it says intro pricing is only available at one location one time and it is not on the website like they claim. See photos.

WOW! I just got home from my first massage at Back & Body, and it was so great! I was having some…read moresciatic and lower back pain and after trying to fix it myself with stretches and pain relievers, I gave up and called, hoping for an appointment within the next week or so. I was thrilled to get one the same day I called! I didn't detail the issues I was having for her, but as someone else mentioned, she was readily able to tell and worked the right areas hard. That bit was not relaxing of course, but it was definitely what was needed, as I am already experiencing increased mobility and less pain compared to when I went in. I appreciated that she did some stretching as well. As someone else mentioned, she did (very apologetically) run out to answer the phone a couple of times during my 90-minute session, so if that's a problem for you, this may not be your place. It's a single-person operation and to stay in business, they need to get & keep their appointment books full, and the rates are lower than a lot of other places. I 100% felt I got my money's worth in time and treatment and would have taken time to schedule my next appointment on the spot if the next person hadn't been there ready for their turn. :)

When you walk in, you are welcomed by a cozy little shop area with herbs, goodies, books, etc., (every time I'm here, I always end up grabbing something, ESPECIALLY the Dram drinks!) Every time I've come in, I've been welcomed warmly and I've felt comfortable and not judged here. Truly a safe space. Now, for the good stuff: I've been coming to Emma here for facials during my recent pregnancy. While I enjoy some upkeep on my skin, I'm really looking for relaxation during services like this and Emma is truly one of the only service providers I've encountered so far that has given me the space to really relax. We chat minimally (but genuinely!) and when she's doing her facial, I feel like I'm safe enough to shut my brain off and really melt into the service. She's knowledgeable about which products to reach for and has generally just been great to come to. She is dual certified in massage and I will be back soon for my first full blown massage with her - I already know it's going to be a great experience :) Haven wellness is WONDERFUL and if you're looking to support local, you should check out haven!
