Anam Cara Healing Center has truly been a sanctuary for me. When I moved to Spokane, I was…read moresearching for a community of like-minded individuals who value growth, healing, and deep connection--and I found that and so much more here. Over the past two years, I've had the privilege of learning Reiki I and II, and I'm currently continuing my journey in the Somatic Practitioner Level 2 program after completing Level 1. The teachings are heartfelt, grounded, and transformative. What keeps me coming back is not just the incredible classes, but the feeling of the space--it's warm, inviting, smells divine, and is filled with vibrant plants and peaceful energy. It truly feels like my home away from home. I've made new friendships, shared in soulful experiences like moon circles and sound baths, beautiful retreats. I have truly found a place where I can be fully myself. Hannah has created something really special here, and she surrounds herself with other magical practitioners who each bring their own unique gifts, love, and wisdom to the space. Her beautiful altar and thoughtfully curated apothecary are pure magic--overflowing with crystals, jewelry, intention sprays, and other soul-nourishing treasures. At the heart of Anam Cara is Hannah's deep intention for everyone who enters to feel nourished and ignited--and that is exactly how I feel each time I walk through the door. Anam Cara is more than a healing center--it's a community, a refuge, and a place where you can grow, connect, and return to your truest self.

Well, I don't know what happened to me this week, but a couple of days ago I was felled by very…read moreintense pain--the kind that made me cancel my clients (which has to be BAD for me to do), and crawl into bed in agony. I'll spare the details, and I'm still figuring things out medically, but I believe this young woman made an immediate difference in my healing. I'll admit I have been a bit of a skeptic of body talk...apparently I'm one of those that has to be desperate to get out of my comfort zone of beliefs (the phrase, 'there are no atheists in foxholes' comes to mind), but I was definitely in a foxhole. Michelle Johnson offered to do a distance body session with me, and followed it up with a detailed email describing what my body was telling her it needed. It fit what I knew was already going on with me--she was not informed of these facts ahead of time. Following her healing session I woke up the next morning about 80% better. I am back among the living again, which is such a wonderful thing. She gave me simple directions to maximize the healing she facilitated during her session. Please check her out. She takes the time to listen and truly treats the whole person, not just the symptoms. One of the biggest compliments I can give is that I actually fell asleep during one of my treatments--and I never fall asleep anywhere except my own bed! Her treatments are incredibly relaxing and restorative. On one visit, my son had to come with me because he had recently broken his arm. It happened to be his birthday, and his elbow was incredibly sore from wearing the sling the hospital had given him. I asked Dr. Brooke if there was anything she could do to help. She placed a tiny ear seed on a reflexology point, and almost immediately his pain was gone. Thanks to her, he was able to enjoy his birthday party, run around at the park, and play with his friends without being miserable--and he didn't even need any pain medication. She didn't charge me anything to help him, which speaks volumes about the kind of person she is. Dr. Brooke is not only exceptionally skilled, but she's also genuinely kind, compassionate, and generous. I'm so grateful to have found her and wholeheartedly recommend Mosaic Healing Arts to anyone looking for thoughtful, personalized care.
