I'm only giving Myrtle's on the Bay 3 stars today but believe it's going to get better. The new owner just took over recently and has been renovating. From the beautiful new deck to the improvements inside I think Myrtles is going to be mobbed in season.
The menu needs some real improvement but the owner said its limited as he gears up. We had fried wings, onion rings and French fries, all were good for what they were, I don't believe any were prepared on site but they tasted fine.
The beer menu was extremely limited, mostly crappy Canadian/US brands, no craft beer at all. In 2017 every bar should have at least one excellent IPA ( and definitely not Quidi Vidi or India Beer posers).
The location is amazing, right on the water and in a town with limited food choices.
I recommend checking this place out, welcome the new owner and encourage him to expand and upgrade the menus, food and beer. read more
