In March 2024, I used Montgomery Coastal Cool as part of American Home Shield Warranty. NEVER get…read morea warranty from American Home Services. While the unit needed to be replaced, AHSW only wanted to band aid the issue. Montgomery Coastal Cool also got on the phone with me with the AHSW and both of us were frustrated with their responses. Montgomery Coastal Cool came out and inspected my unit. They worked on the unit and got it working. After working with the warranty coverage only to figure out that they are the rip off, I decided to go ahead and replace the unit. Otherwise, I would just be doing service call after service call. Montgomery was responsive, pro-active and checked back on the install of the unit. I had two thermostats (Sensi) which allowed me to remotely control the temperature that they installed at the same time. Robert and the team were prompt and did a great job. I would recommend them and plan to reach out when I have to replace the 2nd unit. It's been one year with my new AC and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Montgomery Coastal Cool.

i am writing this review on heat pumps plus which is owned by darrin barton…read more i had a new 5 - ton package unit installed by him on wednesday, june3, 2026. i found darrin to be very knowledgeable in the hvac practices and procedures. i also found him to be very honest and trustworthy. the hvac business is very complex and the average person has no idea of the principals of an hvac unit. it amazes me how you can get heat out of 32 degrees fahrenheit air temperature. for this reason, it is easdy for the everyday person to be taken advantage of when requiring work on heating and air-conditioning systems. i was very impressed and happy with my installation in terms of both cost and quality of work by him and his two employees. i would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing work on their heating and cooling systems. personally, i was in management since i was 24 years old in the brewing industry for over 42 years and know thhe importance of dealing with honest and trustworthy people in business and would highly recommend this company for their fair, honest and quality workmanship that they displayed during my installation.

When searching for an electrician I looked at ratings and how many reviews there were. "Wired" has high ratings in their reviews and several of them. There were other options with good ratings, but Wired was at the top of the list and, full disclosure, I was intrigued by their name. I called and spoke with Lauren. She was friendly, confident and had a "Can do" attitude. I scheduled my appointment and eagerly anticipated the install of my new light fixture and smart thermostat. I was given a window of time to expect the technician and they were on time. A text was sent with a picture of the electrician, which tells me Wired is safety conscious, and it included a brief history about them..... great talking points to break the ice. We got to meet Isaac, Robin and Justin. They were all knowledgeable and efficient. The cost for the work done was invaluable to us. Our tasks were professionally completed and we've now got a company we'll feel totally comfortable with handling any issues that arise with our home whether we're in NC or SC!!
