But I asked him if this was the place, and he said it was his first time also, so I thought "safety in numbers!" This is definitely a traditional Chinese massage place - my masseuse could barely speak English, but thankfully I can speak a tiny bit of Chinese, so it worked out great. While the ambience isn't ideal (e.g., sketchy, not spa like), the deep pressure and reflexology was great. So, don't be too scared of the outside appearance, go with a friend, and overall, it was worth the back beatup massage (the way I like it!).
