I have had problems with my back for a few years, this was exacerbated…read moreby an injury at work about two years ago, when I fell off a step ladder at work when the bottom step broke. Over the forth coming months the pain got worse and my mobility less. I was referred to a Physiotherapist who did a little work on my back and gave me some excerises to do, this I regret to say did not really help. I tolerated the pain and limitations that were imposed on me by the constant discomfort and pain, but thing deteriated and I was left almost immobile, and was having a lot of time off sick from work, this obviously did not go down well with my employers, my doctor prescribed pain killers which up to a point helped. I was however still unable to walk very far without being in considerable pain, to point where on occassions I would loose all feeling in my legs. I was told various things by different professionals, ranging from buy a new bed, and is a natural due to ageing. Not willing to accept these diagnosis or suggestions, so I decided to explore other avenues. I looked on line and purely by chance saw Chiropractic Life, which was only a mile or so down the road - it was late at night so sent them an email explaining my problem and asked if they thought they may be able to help me. I was pleasantly suprised when the following morning I received a call from them, stating that they would be able to give a free consultation to ascertain what the problem was, but they were sure that they would be able to help me. I duly made an appointment. Unfortunately I had to call at short notice to cancel the appointment due to a change in my shifts, they were very helpful and immediately made me another apointment with no cancelation fees, or making me feel that I was wasting their time. I was a bit aprehensive on my first visit, but they made me feel at ease and welcome, whilst I was waiting to see Richard (everyone is on first name terms - which I find friendly and makes the atmosphere very relaxing) I swas shown a Video which explained some of the principals of Chiroptics, this I found absorbing and informative. Richard then asked me into his consulting room and and asked a few questions - some of the questions I had never been asked before by either the physiotherapist or my GP but all were relevent to the problems I had. I felt that for the first time someone was interested in not just my back pain - but in me as an individual, His approach was holistic. After the initial consultation (which was free) he told me what he thought the problem was, and what he could do to help me, the fees were clearly explained to me, and I decided to go ahead. I was unbelievably impressed with his thoroughness, and felt that he wanted to sort my back problems out more than I did!! Another appointment was made for the following day so he could X-Rays of my my spine, this I had never had done before, but that is the way they work, professionally. With the Phsyiotherapist it had been a best guess approach, and my Gp had just prescribed me pain killers and told me to get more excersise(which is very difficult when you can only walk a few yards) Richard knew exactly what the problem was and showed me the X-Rays, you didn;t need to be medically trained to see the problem, several of my vertibrae, were well out of alignment, as was my pelvis and shoulders. He then explained in detail what he wanted to do to correct the problem. No high faluting mumbo jumbo , it was all in plain english, he constantly asked me if I understood what he was saying and asked if I had any questions, he really put me at ease. Since starting the treatment, I have been able to take my dog for a walk, have no time of sick due to back pain, and am able to carry out daily tasks that before I would not have been able to. I still get pain and am not yet fully mobile - but after each session I feel better, many of my friends, and indeed even my boss has commented on how much better I am walking now. I have not had to rely on pain killers for quite a while, and will continue to see Richard on a long term basis, not only to correct my problems , but to make sure they do not re-occur. He has given me some exercises now and I am positive that my neck pain will go completely.

After four ineffective visits to a GP, Physiotherapist, Masseuse and Acupuncturist, I didn't have…read moremuch hope for this place but I cannot recommend it enough. During my first visit I received a full back scan highlighting the severity of any structural/muscular inflammation resulting in a full, clear diagnosis of my problem and x-rays (and all in for £20 which I couldn't believe). They advised me that my problem was a degenerative condition in my neck, not my back where I was experiencing the pain. In fact, I was in so much pain I couldn't even lift my left foot to put it on the clutch to drive myself there. I have since stuck to their treatment plan and hardly ever feel pain at all. Did I mention the staff are really lovely too? If you're considering anywhere else, don't. You won't find any better.

The owner of this establishment is aware of this review and that I published it. She has removed me from her FB group and blocked me within 12 hours of this review going live. This is NOT a personal grievance, it is a true and accurate account of my experience with this salon. I have a few regular salons I visit but decided to give OnCloudNine Treatment a go as it is local. I made a booking on-line (for underarm, half leg, bikini wax and eyebrow thread) a week before my appointment and called to confirm the day before. When I arrived (I booked for 13:15hrs), I was greeted and informed the therapist was running a little late. I had timed my whole day perfectly as I went into hospital the following day and had lots to do. I was given a cup of coffee and engaged in conversation. 45 minutes later (now 14:00 hrs) I was greeted by the therapist and shown to the treatment room. I was asked to change into a white fluffy bathrobe, the only one in the room which didn't smell clean, leading me to the assumption it had been used previously. The window was open and I could see outside. I can't remember if there were blinds, if there were, they were fully open. This made me feel rather exposed, especially when I was receiving the bikini wax. The equipment used (including wax bath) by the therapist was just sitting on a chair, not a work station or desk. In my opinion this is unsafe and highly unprofessional. The therapist herself was very friendly, although she told me all about her previous client and the treatment she had received. I started to wonder what her next client was going to hear about me!! The treatments were absolutely fine and the therapist was efficient. Probably one of the best bikini waxes I've had for a while! In total the session lasted just under 30 minutes. The total cost was £83 a little more than I usually pay, but I was aware of this at the time of booking. This is where it gets interesting As it transpires, the owner of this establishment (who I believed was the receptionist at the time and she never corrected me even when I asked if 'the owner' decorated the place herself) and I have a few mutual friends. During the conversation we had in the waiting area we engaged in polite small talk. I thought noting more of it. 2 weeks later I heard TO MY HORROR that the owner of this salon was repeating and embellishing our conversation to other customers and friends. Although I can see they are trying to move away from the overly clinical look some places offer, I feel that it their décor makes the establishment look too shabby chic rather than comfortable. I found the integrity and professionalism of the owner to be appalling. The treatment room was lacking in equipment, comfort and cleanliness. The staff lack client discretion and confidentiality and the prices are far too high for the standard of the salon.
