It's a good school for children with mental and physical disabilities! She says the good parts about it are (mr. Peter) the shop teacher, Oakley (school therapy dog), the garden and yearbook club! Abigayl is very engaging and the classes are well tailored to each level (I've been through a few!). Abigayl is very tuned in to everyone's language level and learning speed, and she makes language practice fun and practical (for example, she'll have you "shop" for groceries at the Peruvian "Walmart" :) ). She engages everyone in the class and makes them feel comfortable. She offers a range of learning resources both in class and for individual learning outside of class. After 50 hours for each kid, only 5 pages of their books have been completed. My son is preparing for Math 1 for 7th grade and he performed beyond the assigned C2 book so was bored and had to bring in his own school work, which the tutor was ineffective with because he only talks about his dog. I complained and the center manager told me it was "on brand" for that tutor. My daughter tried to be more collaborative, but at the expense of her own learning. Again, passing the level of the books.
