I've been to MyEyeDr numerous times and have seen three of their doctors on staff. The majority of the staff is helpful, professional, and provide adequate service. I never feel pressure to buy products in-house and they will happily provide you with written prescriptions so you can purchase glasses elsewhere. I would highly recommend scheduling with either Dr. Donald Watson or Dr. Samantha Kelly-Seltzer. Both are extremely helpful and spend ample time addressing concerns and don't mind explaining in detail. I would highly recommend that you AVOID scheduling with Dr. Jay Johansen, OD. His "bedside" manner is cold and borderline rude. Almost as if you are bothering him for booking the appointment and that he is no longer happy with his career choice. read more

I agree with Casey. Dr.Watson is very good however the rest of the operation i.e. the front office - need to give up. They just ain't got it. Short of staff . Attitude. Don't know insurance coverages and the list can go on. A sad reflection on the CEO who needs to see an optician as she can't see what's going on in her own organization. read more

I was searching for a place that would process my VSP vision insurance. MyEyeDr advertisement says they work with all insurance. Came in without my wallet. Staff was very helpful matching my insurance without cards. Tech person, Hannah was very pleasant. Dr Wilson was very thorough with a humorous approach. My glasses were ready a week later. They look and feel great but I noticed the personnel never sat down with me to see if they needed adjustment. The customer service was just not there but the medical process was. read more

My old review seems to have "disappeared". It was lengthy and warned everyone about this place. Due to my warranty, I came back for the lenses to be replaced (first clue about this place) in the beginning of the year. Two weeks later, they called me back. I assumed to pick up my new lenses. I was wrong. They needed the frames now. I offered them the first time, but was told me they'll just insert the new lenses when I return in a couple of weeks. They text me this morning (pics included) that my glasses were available to be picked up. The text includes a link for their hours. They were open. Yelp said they were open also. When I arrived before noon, they're closed until Saturday. Avoid this place if you can. Update: "Patient Relations" comments that we need to go online, give them all our information, so they can do what? Call us? This tactic of "call us" is meaningless. MyEyeDr has our information and can easily figure out by our comments who to talk to if they wanted to fix their problems. My point is, they don't care enough about their customers to do anything about it. If they did, the canned response to each comment would show action on their part. It's obviously phony. read more

I have visited this place 3 times between July and yesterday September 18th 2024, and I have had a negative experience starting with the front desk. The staff doesn't greet you they have such a cold demeanor that's the environment overall. On top of that they are lost/confused what you are there for even when you have an appointment that they set up during my last visit there. I walked in yesterday to two men at the counter and they are telling me I am there for contacts ? I've never worn contacts in my life. They are disorganized to say the least. Then asking me for my glasses . ? None of that was correct My appointment was to redo a test that they rushed through and did wrong the first time. But wait it gets better...This was my 3rd visit with the assistant Destiny she is completely rude , demeaning, dismissive and pushy,to the point that I had to stop her yesterday and address it. It's completely uncalled for and unacceptable. I was literally trying to ask a question and she kept ignoring me and passively aggressively shutting me up by repeating for me to do something while I was literally in the middle of talking. I'm so disgusted by her attitude and behavior. Working in this industry you'd think you'd have some kind of human decency. And last but not least if it wasn't for the great professional experience I had with Dr Watson and Tay in the glasses department that is always nice and professional I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone. read more

The front desk staff are very short and rude and very unprofessional. They are differently not trained in any PR manner to deal with customers! Even the music is an i inappropriate for doctor's office. Dr. Watson is the only reason I continue to come here for eye exams, unfortunately, I will not be rescheduling to come back here because of their staff. read more

I will not be using them again. I arrived to an appointment only to be informed I was put on a "walk in list" due to not "confirming" an appointment. I received a call from the company a few days prior to my appointment informing me they needed me to confirm the appointment. I made a few calls that went unanswered and left a message. No call backs or any communication from the company. The night before my appointment, I recieve a txt from the company saying "we are excited to see you at your appt etc etc...". when I walked in, the staff seemed untrained, unprofessional, and not very good with customer service. I explained the situation only to hear "we can try to get you in tomorrow", not even a we are sorry for the inconvenience or we are sorry for not calling back. I have a very busy schedule and do not have time for other people failing to execute their responsibilities so due to this, I will not be using this company in the future and will most certainly advise anyone I know against using this company. My Eye Dr took over the existing Eye Clinic I had been going to for over 15 years. The doctor that I have been using is great. That's where it ends. The office which was nice any cozy was expanded into the worst customer experience imaginable. All of the great employees are now gone. The current office staff for the most part are not very friendly. The quality of the glasses and lenses seem inferior. I have had to make multiple trips to the office for my most current pair of glasses which were very expensive. The original lenses were made incorrectly (progressive regions were incorrect) and the second set of lenses started to delaminate within a few months. I ordered the third set several weeks ago and there was no communication from them. I called today and they said the new lenses were there!! Gee thanks for letting me know. I will be looking for another business for my annual eye exam and glasses. read more

Avoid this business like the plague! After 15 years with Dr. Watson, I will not be returning. Since affiliated with My Eye Dr service has deteriorated. Can't reach by phone; call back request ignored. Eyeglasses not fitted properly - despite three return visits. Stall poorly trained. Now, I learned that my eyeglass frames are too small for my face; shouldn't have been sold to me in the first place. Although the eye doctor is good, the staff that tended to me to get my eyeglasses done has no good customer service manners. I felt I was rushed, she didn't order me a new pair of sunglasses when I decided to buy one and keep insisting that it was a new stock. Never again will I see this dr or part of his staff once I pick up my glasses. I brought in my broken glasses and was informed 50+ times it's against the law to drive without them. The dr was snappy so I just decided to keep my mouth shut. Then it was time for me to pick out my new pair of glasses, the ladies were too focused about a restaurant that opened at 11 am( my appointment was at 8:40 am). I had to squint to pick out my glasses. Also for the clients that have broken glasses, they should have tape or frames to pop lenses into until the glasses arrive, but they don't. I have been seeing Dr. Watson for the last 30 years. I have received excellent care from him and from Katie. Katie has always worked hard to ensure that my contact orders were correct and that my glasses fit me well. I cannot express how much I enjoy working with these two individuals. The office has grown considerable over the last few year, but these two individuals strive to give the patients the absolute best care. Also, hard contacts or gas permeable contact lenses are difficult to fit and Dr. Watson does an excellent job. read more

The two dead plants as you enter the building are probably the best things about this place. I was bumped twice because they double booked my appointment- waited a month to the appointment- waited another month to get my contacts and they still aren't right- am waiting for a callback from the manager who is totally inept. Unfortunate that Yelp does not allow a rating of Zero, otherwise that is what I would have given them. the eye doctors that check you vision are good, friendly, and courteous. it is AFTER you leave their office and go to My Eye Doctor's optical shop that the steep drop occurs. Staff QUICK to sell you the eye glasses you wish for, but if they don't fit well, need the pads adjusted or twee-eked, too bad, so sad. After two visits to the place to get glasses adjusted, I asked about replacement pads. "Technician" hemmed and hawed about replacing pads, when I asked to speak to the manager, she was "not available, but would call.....5 days later, NOT a ring, no VM, nothing. Finally, my wife called the eyeglass manufacturer and THEY are SENDING US replacement pads; something the techs at the store REFUSED to. They were real quick to ask how long we had the glasses and quick to tell us that it would take longer than the 30 day "warranty" to get them working....translation...we will run the clock out on the warranty and you are screwed. So avoid the eye wear store, shop elsewhere! read more
