I stopped by here without an appointment just to look at their abundant glasses frames that were varied, unique and different. I was graciously greeted with a beautiful smile by Shara Chaney. She introduced herself and asked how she could me? I informed her of my mission and she went about the store pulling at least 40 different frames as per my needs and not once rolled her eyes as to my uncertainty. For over 45 minutes, Shara pulled, cleaned, gave a candid opinion on how they looked on my face (I asked her to be honest). My wife even joined in on the fun. I wish I had an employee like this in my medical practice; a delightful and helpful person who puts the patient first. She wrote down the frame measurements, price and model numbers for me. Upon returning home, I need to look at my prescription to make sure they will work in the sized frames. She assured me that they can ship the frames to me in Arizona. In today's society you are told to get your eyes examined at Walmart, Costco or America's Best. I don't want to drive the same car as everyone else. I want what makes me happy. Shara gets it! After hours of panic and eye rubbing I realized I needed help. Since I was in town for one night I frantically googled for help. After a phone call early in the morning, she respectively returned the call and came to my rescue (on her day off). My father drove me to her office since I couldn't open my eyes. I was told someone would call soon from Schulze Eye to schedule an appointment. Almost one month goes by and no word from Schulze Eye. Thinking I might have missed their call, I dropped by the office of Schulze Eye on May 7, 2026, to see if I could schedule an appointment. I met with a friendly black lady at the front desk who informed me that I had not missed a call that, in fact, the person who processes referrals has been out on leave and that she would most certainly call me within a week. That did not happen. On May 18, 2026, I received a call on my cell phone which indicated "Potential Spam". Of course, I did not answer. However, upon immediately checking my voice mail, the call was from Schultz Eye, requesting that I call them back to schedule an appointment. I called back right away and was transferred to their voice mail. I left a message with my identifying information, requesting that someone call me to schedule an appointment. Today is May 27, 2026, and I have yet to hear from anyone at Schulze Eye Center. Obviously, scheduling appointments is not a top priority at Schulze Eye and staff are not being held accountable. Such I attention to patient needs makes me question patient care at this facility. I suppose I'll be calling Low Country Eye for referral to another provider.

Dr. Morrow is incredibly thorough and takes the time to ensure every aspect of my eye health is carefully evaluated. She is also very friendly. We had a great conversation about my new e-bike. I always leave feeling confident that I've received outstanding care. Lillian, the Optometric Assistant who handled my initial testing, was professional, friendly, and very thorough, making the process comfortable and efficient. Shawna Galbierz, Optician, was equally wonderful - kind, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to talk with. We had a great conversation about cars and bicycles, and she even complimented me on how well I care for my glasses after noticing they were still scratch-free. I was especially touched by her handwritten thank-you card sent via US mail where she thanked me for continuing to choose ForSight and for taking such good care of my glasses. She also said she'd love to see a pic of my new e-bike. That personal touch says a lot about the care they provide. The beautifully appointed French-inspired décor also makes every visit feel especially welcoming and refined. I highly recommend ForSight for their professionalism, kindness, exceptional service, and attention to detail.

First, I was genuinely surprised to read that you spent 22 minutes one-on-one with me, in addition to 13 minutes with your technician. That is absolutely not how I remember this visit. From my recollection, the entire appointment -- including my time with the technician, my time with you, transitions, and waiting -- was extremely brief. I certainly do not recall anywhere close to 35 minutes of examination and care. I was also surprised to read that you "personally emailed" me images of the back of my eyes. I have never received those images or any such email from you. More importantly, though, my original review was not about the number of minutes you spent with me. It was about both the examination itself and the way I was treated. In my experience, this was one of the least thorough eye examinations I have ever had. After more than 25 years of regular eye care, I have a very good frame of reference for what a comprehensive eye appointment feels like, and this did not feel thorough to me in any way. I also need to address your characterization of this as a communication problem between the two of us. That is not how I experienced it at all. I did not leave upset because we simply "weren't communicating effectively." I left upset because of the way you communicated with me. Your manner came across to me as abrupt, dismissive, condescending, arrogant and unnecessarily harsh. I felt talked down to rather than listened to, and I felt as though my questions and concerns were an annoyance rather than part of a normal doctor-patient conversation. So I do not think it is fair to reframe what happened as though this were simply a mutual failure to communicate or an issue of "mutual respect." From my perspective, the problem was the tone and manner in which I was treated. I was so upset when I came out that my husband, who was there with me, went back inside to speak with you himself. He was not questioning your medical expertise or objecting to a referral. He was trying to explain that I had come into your office genuinely excited about becoming a new patient and had walked out extremely upset by the way I had been treated. Unfortunately, he came away feeling dismissed as well. He has now fired you as his provider. You lost 2 clients today. I also want to correct the suggestion that this happened because I had "greater confidence" in my previous practice. My longtime doctor retired. That is precisely why I came to ForSight. I had heard good things, members of my family had experience with the practice, and I was sincerely hoping I had found my new eye doctor. I never said that being referred elsewhere was itself a dismissal. The dismissal I was referring to was personal -- the way I felt I was spoken to, treated, and handled throughout the appointment. Doctors and patients can certainly remember interactions differently. But I know what I experienced, and my husband saw how upset I was immediately afterward. His decision to go back inside and address it in the moment says a great deal about how strongly the interaction affected me. I almost never leave negative reviews, and I take no pleasure in writing this one. But I stand by my original review. This was not about disliking a referral. It was about an examination that felt rushed and incomplete to me and, even more importantly, an interaction that left me feeling deeply dismissed, disrespected, and uncomfortable. This was, without question, the worst eye examination I have ever experienced. I found the exam rushed, incomplete, and nowhere near the standard of care and professionalism I have experienced with other eye providers over many years. It seems 30+ days notice is necessary for service. Having said this, Dr. Parker is outstanding. He offers clear, thorough advice and guidance and, as another reviewer has stated here on Yelp, is somewhat akin to a family doctor many of us experienced in our youth. If you get a referral for surgery to their Savannah office, consider a consult with a different business. Based on my experience, the queue for surgery is too long if you're looking for timely service.
