Beware Scam artists. After additions such retinal imaging etc., that they do not tell you is extra. I was told upfront that my exam for glasses and contacts would be $270, which I thought was outrageous. $374 for an exam. Price out the door. No I am not kidding. But a good exam is expensive, right? The dr did dialate my eyes. The "seating staff" forgot he dialated me and forgot that I was waiting to see him again. Nice. I was then placed in a room and told he would just be a minute. I looked up the contracted optometrist under my insurance, your facility came up in my city, which I was glad for; however, there was no number to call to make my appointment. The only way available was to make it online. That was very annoying. After I made the appointment, I received four texts, two emails and one phone call to confirm the appointment. Not to mention, two notifications to finish my forms online, which I did and received confirmation. That was more annoying! When I arrived at the facility, the receptionist asked if she can help me and I explained that I had a doctors appointment, she gave me paperwork to fill out, I explained that I already filled the forms online and received confirmation. She quickly, without checking, said that it was not there and to fill out the paperwork again. I really didn't want to argue with someone that clearly didn't care. After finishing, I went up to the counter and asked if the visit was covered under my insurance. She said that I had a $39 co-payment, I said I do not have a co-payment, then she back peddled and said, it's not a co-payment, it's part of the eye exam that the insurance doesn't cover. At this point, I felt that there was no integrity or transparency at your office. What if I could not pay an extra $39? This should have been disclosed up front before I walked in to have an eye exam or have been told on the phone while confirming my appointment. What made matters worse was it was that same receptionist was the one that performed the initial part of the exam and when she took me back, she said good morning, how are you doing today? What? I didn't deserve a good morning if I didn't agree to the initial scam? Frustrated, I let her finish with what she had to do because I really needed these glasses, hoping seeing the doctor would be better. It was, he was a nice guy, he was very thorough, and I was happy with his work. After my exam was done, the doctor walked me to the other side where I had to sit with a salesperson to upsell me on frames. I told her that I have my old frames that I am happy with and would like to use them to save money. She quickly said that you have a promotion, and it will cost me more money to use my old frames than to buy new ones!! In what world does that make sense? Your office is clean, your staff is not caring and not forthright with information, that fact that I can't pick up the phone and call your office for an appointment then get bombarded with a slew of texts and emails afterward is ridiculous. I posted a glowing review last year, but when calling to schedule for this year, I learned that the doctor I saw was gone and I needed to wait for a callback to schedule for this year. I was finally able to talk to the desk person after a ridiculously long wait on hold. Unfortunately, there are few options in Henderson to find a new provider, so I will try this facility one more time if they call back. This makes five different doctors in five years. SMH Well, I saw a fill-in doctor, so there is still no permanent one. The technician does the tests, and is very personable and competent. The doctor was also personable and professional. He clearly discussed my eye issues and altered my prescription. I can only say good things about the entire staff here, but I am always dismayed at the price I have to pay for new lenses, although to be fair, they are complicated and have to be ordered. That means a couple of weeks using old glasses while my frames are sent off to make sure the new lenses fit. I use the same frames for years to cut down on costs. I have to improve my rating because of the helpful staff. read more

I am really appreciative for the customer service that has been part of my experience with this office. I have some difficulty with glasses that" work" at work and they have been a great help in assisting me in finding a solution. I have a great pair of glasses that I really like . I went to myeyedr in My 2019 for an annual eye check. The test reveled that my eyes were in better shape that the last check up, which seemed strange to me. I wanted to be able to read from my computer screen and to be able to see to drive at night. The Dr. told me that the lenses I would get would allow me to do these things. However, I asked for my prescription so that I could go elsewhere to get my glasses cheaper. I was told that Myeyedr had an economy plan so I could get my glasses at a good price. I looked at the glasses that they had on the economy plan and I picked out a pair that I liked. I paid for the glasses and was told they would be back within 7 days. When the 7 days were up, I went back to get my glasses and was told they had not arrived, so I told them to call me when they came in. I never received that call so I called them and was told that my glasses had arrived. I went over to the office and tried on my new glasses and low and behold, I couldn't see anything out of them! I was told that it may be the glare from the lights in the office, so I decided to take them home and give it a chance to see if it indeed was a glare problem. I tried the glasses at home with the same results so I called the office back and told them that the glasses were useless for me as I couldn't see any thing out of them. They told me to bring them back to talk about what could be done for me and yesterday(June 17, 2019) I took the glasses back to the office. The agent that I talked to told me the only thing that they could do was to send the glasses back to add distance and glare protection which would cost me more than a hundred dollars. I told her that this was not acceptable to me because I was told when I got the eye exam that my glasses prescription would contain these two elements. I came away from that office with a pair of glasses that are useless to me. I could have gone to the dollar store to buy the type of glasses they gave me. This is why I want my money back and I am posting this review so that other people want get bamboozled by this company. read more

I was able to get a last minute appointment and I was seen within 10 minutes of my arrival. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I really felt like the Dr. cared about my vision needs and helped me make an informed decision. read more

This is a HUGE company with various offices or franchises. This is important if you have any problem with services or fees. I was charged $200 for services which I had been previously told would be covered by my insurance. I paid, stupidly. Then I called and asked why I had been charged. Turns out, they didn't file the claim properly. I have been waiting for FOUR MONTHS to get my money back and every week I get an incredible song and dance from this group. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR EYES. Go elsewhere! read more
