My biggest issue with this company is that it only offers technical support Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. So, for example, they did an upgrade to all the websites, which you would think would be a good thing. However, they did it on a Friday afternoon, knowing that there could be issues. There were issues. 2 of my domains weren't linked to the website. As soon as I noticed this, I called and emailed. I heard nothing from them. Then on Monday morning, I called and got someone and they said, "I will have it looked into" Nothing about when it would be fixed or anything. No apology. Nothing! Website has now been down for 3 days! Websites are 24 hours! 9 to 5 hours are for banking! I've lost a business and money that I spent on ads promoting the website. Filing a better business bureau complaint and following up with legal action. (legal name of the business is Creative Media Consultants Inc) If you need your website to work 24 hours a day 7 days a week, then this company is not for you. read more

This used to be a very user-friendly website for class reunions, fund-raisers, etc. I discovered it in 2015 while planning for a class reunion. The format has recently changed and there have been numerous glitches in it. They no longer allow classmate photos on the profiles, nor do they allow photos to be attached to emails send out as the admin of the site. I've had to go in and manually correct contact names that have gotten messed up, as well as other data. I would be hesitant to recommend this to anyone planning a class reunion. read more

I have been using My Event to do a website for our 40 year class reunion. I love how it works and the features. It is easy to use and has good options for pollls, memorials, pictures and even music. Nice tools for spread sheets for registrants addresses, etc. So glad we used it. Alumni are loving it! read more

We reviewed man different providers and, there were so many, that we had a difficult time just narrowing down our choices. Ultimately, we picked MyEvent because of the features that it had and because of the pricing. Unfortunately, we had to switch to another service right out of the gate because MyEvent only allows one admin user. I emailed the tech support because I could not believe that this limitation was for real but they confirmed it. Hopefully, they will change this feature soon as we would like to use the system but we had to move our event to another service because we have a committee working on this event and sharing one admin user (which is what MyEvent tech support suggested) is just a non-starter for us. read more

We used MyEvent for our 45-year high school reunion 5 years ago, and we are now using it again for our 50th. It made everything so much easier, and gave people a way to get information and communicate with us. We were able to customize the pages quite enough to suit our needs. The ability to RSVP and pay for admission online was SO helpful in so many different ways. I really think that more people RSVP'd and paid for tickets (and responded earlier) than would have without that feature. It simplified the banking process, as well as helped to organize the list of those who were planning to attend. The program even made it very easy to organize and integrate responses and payments from those who responded by regular mail. Customer support has always been extremely helpful in answering our questions in a timely fashion. I could say so much more! read more

I'm very pleased with the service I've received from My Event. The turn-around time in getting back to customers is excellent! I even received a reply to my request on a Sunday. These ppl are awsome! And I like all the added features which are helping me tremendously in putting our family renunion together. Thanks to My Event it's all coming together! read more
