I get that people/churches have off days, make mistakes...And, reviewers are certainly entitled to their opinions about their experiences; However, please consider the caliber of some comments when reading. Certain people like to complain for the sake of complaining. For example: One commented about the amount of traffic outside the church but apparently doesn't attend. Really? Bad mouth a church online you don't attend because there were too many cars? Call the church. I am sure they will consider your complaint and explain their efforts. The last time I was there, they had officers and volunteers on the scene directing the masses. I cannot imagine they have abandoned their responsibilities since I left. Another was scriptural issues. If you have biblical questions about sermons, classes or philosophy, email the pastor himself. Don't take someone's word salad opinion from the reviews, especially when the person acknowledges one verse, but leaves out ten that also apply to their argument. Complaint about the pastor's take on BREAST FEEDING, lol!! As a strong supporter of breastfeeding, I would love to know what he said about breastfeeding being "awkward". Did he speak against breastfeeding being "awkward" because so many use it today as a green light today to be indecent behind the martyr excuse of "feeding my baby". If he did, someone high five that man. I kid but come on. Lastly, no one made me feel welcome. Are you sure they were having church that day? GREETERS ARE SO WELCOMING THEY CAN BE OBNOXIOUS AT TIMES IN A GOOD WAY. Lol, greeters are like roaches...everywhere spreading kindness at ELEVEN22. Many are volunteers who sacrifice their time with family so others can worship. If one failed to greet a person, maybe they arrived at 6:00 AM to set up and are exhausted by the time church has started...Or, maybe they were making coffee for those coming. I am sure there were many who did speak to others. That said, again, people are entitled to their opinions, but please use discernment when reading. No individual is perfect and every one of us needs Jesus. Speaking NECESSARY truth about a church/ministers definitely has its place, but recklessly bad mouthing God's house that may influence others not to attend based on a critical spirit, is dangerous IMO. Go to the source if you have questions. I know that I may sound a bit salty, but I am at my limit with people carelessly tearing ministers/volunteers down that try to serve Christ while they do absolutely nothing but throw tomatoes and criticize online. That said, if you are reading, give this church a try. If it's not for you, thankfully there are more. If you don't like church, then you can still give Jesus a try. Call the church. Someone will pray with you.

The people were very welcoming! After the service, we were invited to go to the "explore" room where we met with some of the staff and watched a short video about the church and their beliefs. They provided donuts and water and we were asked to fill out a get-to-know-you form. What we didn't love: The sound system was extremely loud. When the pastor was speaker it was hurting my ears. I had to wear my jacket and I was still freezing in the building (it's January... maybe they're trying to save on electricity bill) We loved the church and their values! The children's wing is amazing and the security team makes sure the kids are safe. Worship music is energetic and fun. Pastors are personable and share scripture, then teach on it in a way that's impactful for my life. Very relatable. I love the life groups, too. Excellent place to get closer to Jesus. They even have a playground for kids and some pickleball courts to build community and fitness.

The welcome committee was terrific and having the pastor at the door to welcome everyone was so refreshing because that's what I'm used to. Now there are these mega churches where you can't get near the pastors which is sad in itself. The worship was great and the HOLY SPIRIT definitely was there. I love that they had an alter call for prayer and for anyone wanting to give their life to Christ. Just wanted to see the blessing of oil being used. This church loves to vocally praise the Lord which he is SO deserving of! Not sure if they have mid-week study, where to me is a good time for new believers and seasoned christians to come together to really get in the word biblically. That being said, Grace doesn't feel like or resemble any of the churches I've ever known. Which is a remarkable and refreshing thing! As a youth I was curious and went with all of my friends to their churches to see who the people were and see how they connected with God. It didn't often feel filled with passion or love. Present day I have a friend who loves it there. So I asked my friend what I should wear and she said, "whatever is comfortable. I'm wearing jeans but people come in shorts and flip flops. Everyone is welcome as they are." I've never been to a church like that. Hmmm. So I arrived and was warmly welcomed, especially as a first timer. I mentioned I was waiting for my friend. "Do you mind if I ask who it is? Oh! She's the sweetest person ever. What a beautiful spirit!" My friend arrived and we sat down. It was a time of song (courtesy of a full band of passionate, spiritual musicians), joy, thankfulness and love. Roger, the Pastor, shared a message that felt like it was meant for me. It is truly a place filled with the Spirit of God and the Compassion and Love of Christ. I'll be back.
