As someone who didn't like churches much, it really took someplace special to get me inside another one again. Since I live in the neighborhood, I always noticed traffic every Sunday morning and realized that the church was there. It was previously known as Faith Christian church and then changed the name. I found out that they had a live stream available online every Sunday for the 11am service. The stream is usually great to watch depending on your internet connection and computer capacity. So we decided to start watching the live stream to get a feel for what would be there if we decided to physically get up off our butts to go in the building. Let me warn you in advance, while watching the stream I zoned out... they do so much worship in the beginning (almost am hour of singing and worshipping, skits and such) that some people might be ready for the word, but get stuck listening to the music. It is like a concert for the most part during the first 45 minutes to hour. So, for me, I wasn't big on that worshipping aspect... just give me some of the good news and fill me with the word, you know? But eventually, we listened to the Bishop preach, and he was awesome! We took so much away from his sermon that we couldn't wait for next week. Soon it wasn't enough for us to watch the love stream. We went in person. They greet you as a first time visitor and have a reception in your honor to help you see they are welcoming you in open arms. The service was great the first day I went in person. There were so many friendly people. I eventually made my commitment to becoming a member. They have a course of 4 classes to help you grow within the church, They offer small groups, counseling free to members (pre-marital, family, guidance), weddings, home going services and much more. Their services are wonderful. I do understand that for some, it might not be their thing, but I also realize not many people may know about it. They have a book store cafe, a school that is coming and they're expanding their church to accommodate its growing discipleship. We welcome everyone to come!

I attended Eleven22, until I moved two years ago out of state. I found their reviews while looking…read morefor a Financial Peace class for my daughter. The one star reviews have been comical to read this morning. I get that people/churches have off days, make mistakes...And, reviewers are certainly entitled to their opinions about their experiences; However, please consider the caliber of some comments when reading. Certain people like to complain for the sake of complaining. For example: One commented about the amount of traffic outside the church but apparently doesn't attend. Really? Bad mouth a church online you don't attend because there were too many cars? Call the church. I am sure they will consider your complaint and explain their efforts. The last time I was there, they had officers and volunteers on the scene directing the masses. I cannot imagine they have abandoned their responsibilities since I left. Another was scriptural issues. If you have biblical questions about sermons, classes or philosophy, email the pastor himself. Don't take someone's word salad opinion from the reviews, especially when the person acknowledges one verse, but leaves out ten that also apply to their argument. Complaint about the pastor's take on BREAST FEEDING, lol!! As a strong supporter of breastfeeding, I would love to know what he said about breastfeeding being "awkward". Did he speak against breastfeeding being "awkward" because so many use it today as a green light today to be indecent behind the martyr excuse of "feeding my baby". If he did, someone high five that man. I kid but come on. Lastly, no one made me feel welcome. Are you sure they were having church that day? GREETERS ARE SO WELCOMING THEY CAN BE OBNOXIOUS AT TIMES IN A GOOD WAY. Lol, greeters are like roaches...everywhere spreading kindness at ELEVEN22. Many are volunteers who sacrifice their time with family so others can worship. If one failed to greet a person, maybe they arrived at 6:00 AM to set up and are exhausted by the time church has started...Or, maybe they were making coffee for those coming. I am sure there were many who did speak to others. That said, again, people are entitled to their opinions, but please use discernment when reading. No individual is perfect and every one of us needs Jesus. Speaking NECESSARY truth about a church/ministers definitely has its place, but recklessly bad mouthing God's house that may influence others not to attend based on a critical spirit, is dangerous IMO. Go to the source if you have questions. I know that I may sound a bit salty, but I am at my limit with people carelessly tearing ministers/volunteers down that try to serve Christ while they do absolutely nothing but throw tomatoes and criticize online. That said, if you are reading, give this church a try. If it's not for you, thankfully there are more. If you don't like church, then you can still give Jesus a try. Call the church. Someone will pray with you.

The band is pro level. Parking can be a little tough because of the growing popularity but a small price to pay for an excellent service every week. The band absolutely rocks. It's a little louder so if you are looking for a smaller church, this is not the place for you. If you want to come and be washed in the word, this IS the church for you! Always room for one more!

All of our pastors are dynamic speakers with relatable/practical messages rooted in God's Truth and the gospel. My kids love going to their classes--they learn the Bible and have so much fun in the children's programs! Plus, our outdoor space with the park and pavilion is perfect for hanging out with family and friends. The property is kept meticulous, they really pay attention to the details. Most importantly, this place walks the talk when it comes to living out our faith. The staff and leaders hold themselves to high standards, and it shows. It's not just a gathering place on Sundays--Southpoint is a place where big faith, radical discipleship and spiritual family is celebrated and lived out daily. If you're serious about accepting Jesus into your heart and transforming your life for the better, I highly recommend joining this spiritual family.
