I had another company that somehow weaseled their way into a deal with Scheels in the springs tell me that their senior installer said the job couldn't be done, it's not possible. This company quoted us a 2 hour minimum, of $320 and a $40 charge every 15 minutes after. With a 17% gas fee, and a $160 travel fee. We bought our own packing materials to save money. They worked for 2 hours and fifteen minutes. Then held the tv and 2 boxes hostage until we paid over $900 for the move. They charged us another hour while we disputed the charge. Completely disreputable, dishonest, the lead mover said it was going to be 5/6 hours labor before he started the job. So he was planning on overcharging from the start. Evil, lying, workers who then claimed they used the companies packing materials and not ours. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! They damaged chairs and bedroom set to boot. We'll update when we see if they take care of the damage. read more

This was by far the worst moving experience you can ever imagine. While I would like to start on a positive note and say the kids that showed up we're nothing less than polite gentleman. However, this was a complete move including packing. The countless unmarked, unknown boxes were two many to count. Suits, all business both hers and I thrown in the bottom of boxes. I promise none of our garnets are cheap. The most disappointing part is they are bar the most expensive we estimated with. But, we went with the old thought you get what you pay for. Well WE DID NOT! We paid close to $7,000 for this in town move. Yes $7,000, and after they were not finished after day one the movers said you have to call Brad to renegotiate. I promise you, there was no more negotiations. And Dusty, the one who came out and did the estimate and acted like our best friend, when things went bad, he became a complete ghost. It is a shame, we are three days into an unpack that if done correctly could have easily been done in one. read more

I called and got a quote for unloading a truck with about two bedrooms worth of furniture. They said two hours, quoted $200 and got my address. Showed up on time and made quick work of the project. Actually finished in an hour. However, when I asked how much (thinking it might be less since it only took an hour) they said $240. When I asked why they said "Trip Charge". They give you the invoice when the job is done. Yes, they state on the invoice it is a two hour minimum, fine. Yes, they state on the invoice there is no travel time inside city limits. I'm outside by 20 minutes. Still puts me at under two hour minimum if they are charging for time. The Invoice has $200 Flat written on it, then overwritten with $260, then crossed out and a $240. Get your full quote in writing. Nice guys, good job, no damage but to be "up sold" at the end really leaves a bad taste in your mouth. read more

They returned my initial call right away, gave a very reasonable estimate, scheduled me within a few days, and took very good care of the piano from start to finish. The men (Chris and Matt) were friendly, efficient and hard working. I have used these guys several times over a 10 year period because they are a local family business and did a good job moving things at a reasonable price. This year I called them in June, having just sold my house, talked to the owner and booked on a verbal agreement to move on Sunday June 28th 2015. He said it was the only slot left, and I took it gratefully. As I explained to the owner of "My Three Sons", I was closing on selling the house Monday June 29th, so I really had to get everything out. Sunday morning they didn't show up. I started calling them at 10 minutes after 10AM (the agreed time to meet). I left multiple messages and they actually started picking up the phone to hang up on me. My 50-something year old fiance called his best friend and they rented a uhaul and spent the entire day moving my belongings. My fiance fell and bruised his hip. It was miserable, nerve wracking and disappointing. I would take them to small claims court but we were working on a verbal agreement due to my long association with them, so I can't "prove" they were supposed to be there. So I will just warn you - if you book them, buyer beware and get a written quote and contract. I know you guys at MY THREE SONS are going to read this, so I will just say, YOU REALLY LET ME DOWN!!!! Do not use this service for moving. They sent three movers, one of which was his very first day, and was clueless and not physically ready for the work. They didn't move everything I wanted moved because they were running out of room in the truck, and even though I labelled boxes for where they were meant to go and everything was left in the kitchen. I specifically hired movers because I am going through chemo and cannot physically lift the boxes up the stairs. They broke my antique crystal shelving in my china hutch (another reason I wanted professional movers - so the antique furniture wouldn't get broken - big joke). There was a TV they did not move, so they put the TV behind a door in the old house where my husband discovered it had been knocked by the door handle repeatedly and broken to pieces. Just got off the phone with rep. I asked for a price quote. I was SUPER surprised it was going to cost $2800 to move 4 desks, 1 large and 3 small filing cabinets a few miles across town (maybe 4-5 miles). I said "wow, maybe we need to find some strong neighborhood kids to help us". The rep then said "there you go, good luck with that" and hung up on me. Based on other reviews, we were expecting a great experience from My Three Sons Moving & Storage, unfortunately we had no experience at all. The day we were expecting the movers to come to our home, they called and said they were not coming. The explanation was four movers had quit and a driver called in. I understand the problem the moving company had with being short of workers but I also experienced the terrific problem that left us with on the very day we were expecting to move. We sold our home and had to be out within a few days. I don't know if it was because we were not a full house move, only large furniture so that may have put us low on their priority list, the company was not going to make as much money off of us as they would a full house move. They did not offer any recommendations on other companies that might be able to pick up a short notice move request. We would have been repeat customers as we will be moving again in 9 months. I had a move arranged with this company at 9:30am, Sat., April 2nd, 2016. NO ONE ever showed up. I called them more than a dozen times, and each time got only a busy signal. They also never called me on the day of the move, though they had called me the day before to confirm the move. To be fair, I had not put down a deposit with them nor had I submitted a credit card number. These company STINKS and I would not recommend them to anyone. Will never use this company again! Paid for 3 hours minimum charge and only had an hour and a half needed. Ok that's cool. Workers marked up furniture and walls and wrapped one furniture piece with plastic before I could tell them I had covers then charged $39 for one wrapping. This is extortion they got way over just charging the minimum and then stood there with their arms around themselves waiting to get the extra $39 before they would even unload the truck. These guys were my saving grace, nobody likes trying to bribe friends and family into helping you move with pizza and beer, which is still hit or miss.
