As far as fast food Asian places go, this one isn't bad. Their tofu is the perfect consistency, the…read moresauce is a little spicy, and the vegetables are tasty. I've had the Nouilles Viet and the Riz Viet, each with the végétarien add-on from the Grillades section (consisting of vegetables and tofu.) This plate is 9€ and it's quite filling. There is bubble tea on the menu but for some reason they don't serve it at lunch. In fact, I'm not sure when they serve it. When my French is better, I'll ask and update this review. But for now, they're losing a star over this atrocity. Overall, the food is fine and they have a free, private toilet which is a plus in my book. Woko definitely scratches the itch for cheap Asian food.

I'll start by saying that the food was actually pretty good. I ordered the "Salade Bûn" with tofu…read more(one of the two stars is just for having a non-meat option) and it was yummy. However, their service and logistics need a LOT of improvement. I came for lunch with my boyfriend at about 12:45 on a Wednesday. We were the only people in line when we got there and it didn't seem busy. So I don't know if the woman who took my order was new, overwhelmed, hard of hearing, or what, but she totally missed the mark. So the BF ordered his menu, then I ordered my salade - so far, so good. I then ordered a "bubble tea." This is where the trouble started. I will explain the Bubble Tea menu first (as stated on a huge sign on the wall): first you choose a flavor; then choose with or without milk; and then choose your bubbles, either flavored (strawberry, mango, or raspberry), flavorless tapioca, or none. So: I said I wanted a Bubble Tea, but I didn't say it with enough of a French accent for her to understand the first time. Fine, whatever. I'm used to that. Then I asked for "gingembre" for the flavor, no milk, and "perles sans goût." That is technically not what the menu calls them, but I assumed it would be understood as the flavorless tapioca option. Not quite. Luckily, there is a screen on the register where you can see your order and total, and it looked like she had my BT entered with no flavor, no milk, and no bubbles. Huh? Do you really think I'm trying to pay 3.50 for a glass of water with a big straw? *customer service fail #1* My boyfriend managed to get the flavor sorted out quickly, but then when we explained that I wanted the plain tapioca "perles," she said that they were out and I had to choose one of the flavors. I asked for mango and she put it in. Okay. We paid, got the number for our table, and found a seat. Our food came out in, no kidding, 30 seconds, but the lady who brought it whisked away our table number without leaving a BT. The next time she passed by, the BF asked her about the BT, and she said we had to go wait for it at the end of the counter where the bubble tea person makes them. Huh? Who thought that was a good process? And thanks, by the way, lady at the counter, for telling us that when we ordered. *customer service fail #2* So my poor BF goes and waits to get the bubble tea maker's attention, and when he gets to ask her about my BT, she tells him that they're also out of the mango flavor. All they have is strawberry, so whatever - I just want my damn drink. Give me what you got. When he comes back with my BT, he said that she told him that she's been telling her co-workers that they only have the strawberry and they're just not listening to her. *communication fail* I also don't understand how she would have gotten our order done if we hadn't gone directly to her to ask about it. *customer service fail #3* So yes, the food was fine and I ate it. Would I ever come here again? Only if I were desperate. And no, I would NOT recommend their jerry-rigged version of "bubble tea." Super not worth 3.50.
