Due to an unhappy situation with my previous accountant, of over 10 years, last year I searched for a new accountant to file my 2023 taxes. I found My Tax and was so impressed by all the amazing reviews, I decided to give them a chance. I am so glad I did. Kevin is great! It is a welcome change to have an appointment and be taken care of at my allotted time and not have to sit in the waiting room because they schedule several people at the same time. I needed a reputable accounting service for this years tax season and was referred to this office by one of my closest colleagues. The level of professionalism here is top-notch. Not only do they offer evening appointments but they also have appointments on Saturday's for those who cannot make it during the week. I came in with plenty of questions since the tax law does change quite periodically and was given a knowledgeable breakdown of how to properly organize my income and maximize my refund. After dealing with plenty of shady tax preparers in Miami, I felt like finding this place as a breath of fresh air. They're very attentive to their clients and extremely trustworthy in every aspect. It's so important to have an Accountant like Kevin that you can rely on for tax season! They even have an option that allows clients to have the preparation fee deducted from their return which facilitates taxpayers like me with a timely and cost-effective tax service. We have been working with Kevin for a while now on both our personal and business taxes and could not recommend him highly enough. He takes the time to send out a newsletter during the year to discuss the upcoming changes to the tax laws and how it can affect his customers. More importantly he is professional and thorough and works hard to make sure everything is covered. My husband found Kevin on yelp and we could not be more happy with this beautiful find. We had an app alignment and there was no wait, the office was clean the woman at the front desk was really sweet and attentive. Kevin was extremely thorough! He sat us and went down step by step and helped us understand our taxes. We had a really bad experience with an accountant in the past that took all our income return and put it in a fake bank account and never explained a thing. To build some context, I will say that my drive to get here is over one hour long, that's how much this service is worth to me. You can set an appointment in advance and this will help you a lot; the receptionist is awesome, if you're waiting, she will make a quick review of your documents so you're good to go, before entering the office. I started preparing taxes in 2010 with great ambition and determination. Since then, I have prepared thousands of individual and business tax returns, assisted with hundreds of IRS letters, opened corporations, and have instructed and trained others to do so as well. All of this was accomplished by building a foundation of trust through relationships and communication with each any every one of my clients.
