I had an excellent career as an engineer, for a company in Michigan City…read more Then one day in July 2012, Wee Care Day Care's manager called me while I was on my way to work. She claimed that my daughter Jasmine had head lice. She insisted that I must immediately pick up my daughter. So I called my mother, and my sister; however, no family member was willing to deal with the head lice situation. Therefore I had no other choice but to call off work. I picked up my daughter, and immediately brought her to our family doctor. Both the doctor and nurse examined Jasmine's hair and scalp, and concluded that Jasmine did not have head lice; SHE ONLY HAD DANDRUFF! Therefore, I brought my daughter back to the Wee Care Day Care, and presented the doctor note. The day care manager insisted that Jasmine's doctor was wrong, and the manager re-examined my daughter's hair! She then pointed out the dandruff flakes, and claimed that was HEAD LICE, AGAIN!!! This terrible situation cost me my job, and due to my job loss, and being a single parent (divorced) I had a struggle with paying my rent, and consequently we were evicted!!!

Revolt has an amazing coaching staff and they work diligently with all of their athletes at all…read morelevels. I have 2 children competing on their teams at 2 different levels, and like most families they are complete opposites and learn very differently. The coaches have easily recognized their differences and have coached them in ways that were specific to their individual needs, which I am so completely grateful for. They work on skill progression and make sure that your child uses proper technique. Even after your child has learned a skill they must perfect it before moving forward to the next skill. Which means your child may get frustrated that they finally got their back handspring but can't yet move on to tucks until they have perfected it. As a parent I absolutely love it, because it means that your child will be less likely to become injured. They are very big on team bonding, and as a result they have solid teams who cheer one another on in a way that I have never seen before. And as a result my very shy child has made lifelong friendships that she cherishes. Another thing that I have noticed in the 2 years that we have sent our kids here is that the coaches do NOT have or pick a favorite athlete. They give their team athletes time and energy equally, and don't have a "star" on any of their teams. Which is not the case with many other gyms around here. This seems to keep the moms from gossip and badmouthing the coaches, and also keeps girls from hurt feelings. Honestly, Revolt is an amazing place.

I felt unwanted but I stuck it out for my daughter. They provided information but when I asked questions, they seemed annoyed and put off. I asked about their record as far as competition and that's when the excuses started. It almost sounded like they blamed the parents and sometimes even the students. They went on and on about the older team but after some research and talking to other parents, that's the furthest from the truth. Not a way to do business if you ask me. The pricing is a little outrageous too.

Mood lighting, great stereo, you name it. My instructor is Kelly, she is amazing, especially for those with no experience. I also love how they have you sign a form to promise to love yourself and others and not to bring the negative energy in! Due to the snow/blizzard a class was cancelled and they immediately reached out to schedule us with a new class. Also, the instructor Kelly hand wrote a card about thanking us for joining and beginning this journey. I am super excited to continue. From the moment you walk in, you sanitize, remove your shoes and check in. On the first class we were 15 minutes early and they asked us to wait in the car because they want to limit people at the door, which is nice. Masks are required. Also, they sell out quick when it comes to registering! Another good sign to me. I've learned a lot in two classes and I'm so excited. This place is amazing. I want to schedule a birthday/party here too, they look so fun!!! This business is the stuff !!!

We all signed the waiver basically stating we won't sue if we're injured. The representative had us do a champagne toast for the bride-to-be before we began the class. Afterwards, the class began. We learned a sexy lap dance routine then a pole dance routine. It was extremely fun. Then they had the guest of honor do a special routine while we throw money at her. Now that was exciting!!!! The guest of honor also got a gift bag and we all got a free class card that must be used in 30 days. The party was definitively worth it! I would definitely love to do this again.

Very disappointing experience overall. I took two hand building classes recently. They're 8 weeks…read morelong, but in reality you have 6 weeks of time to work because the first week is the introductory info and the 8th week you're just picking up your glazed work. The teacher, Set, seems nice at first, but there's a lot of gossip about the owner, Jay, and other students. Do I really need to know that Jay lives in the building and is proud that he doesn't have a place to bathe in his space? Initially we were told that her Tues and Wed night students could come on both nights to work if they were interested. She said Jay a didn't know what's going on and if asked, just say you were making up a missed class. She then rescinded that offer when she decided that she didn't like me for some reason. I have no idea what I did to inspire this treatment, but Set told me I was "intolerable" and when I asked what I'd done she claimed I was harassing her. She got upset and said she was going to call the owner to get the police!! I can only think I ask too many questions and asked for her help too often. She tried to draw other students into the conflict by saying "WE". As a former teacher I find that so unprofessional. If I've ever needed to talk to a student about a problem, I ask the student to speak to me away from other students, not try to get them on "my side". I contacted Jay and after talking to her, his response was it seemed she was having a bad day. I'll say! Set knows where her bread is buttered. She is so proud of a huge bust of Jay, the owner, that took her 2 years to finish. We all had to go and look at it. She knows who to pander to. Overall she's a pretty good artist, but NOT A GREAT TEACHER. Never again will I take a class there. It's full of older rich white (suburban) women and those are just not my kind of people. I'm sad that I can't continue taking classes as it's very close to my home.
