They sell quality apparel, toys, and gifts for kids while "promoting ownership of fewer, better things." This is always my go-to shop for any baby shower I'm invited to. You'll find such unique items that no one else will have, making you the best gift-giver ever! Especially if you're shopping for a little girl, this shop is heaven. My favorite part is their second-hand thrift section filled with gently used clothing ranging from newborn sizes to kids up to 10 years old. I've found many cute name brand treasures in this section at a fraction of the cost. You can also trade in your own gently used children's items in exchange for store credit. They also have the cutest play area set up in the shop for your littles to play and keep them busy while you shop! You can even rent this space for small parties and celebrations. Free parking is available in the lot behind the building or street parking along Edgewater. Go check it out and #supportlocal!

Nichols stands out with his focus on handmade paper collage turned art prints. Check his Instagram "nickhanzlikworld" and his webpage and Facebook to browse his collages! Support a local artist! The shop feels like a mini art gallery too. The paper collage artwork is intricate with clean lines and a bold color schemes. The greeting cards make a perfect gift too because the design would look great on a frame as decoration. The cards are too pretty to be shoved into a box! There's many different themed designs like cherry blossoms, food, taxi cars, animals, cities, and many more. The R. Nichols Shop's collages will make you cheer up wanting to cheer someone up, because something may just remind you of that special someone! If you're not much of the artistic type but wish you were, then you'll especially appreciate the collages here too. If you're a tourist in Orlando, you'll definitely want to get a souvenir at R. Nichol's. There were other collages on cities like his hometown Washington DC, which he mentioned. I bought a pagoda print luggage tag to add to my friend's graduation gift, since I already had a card. I'd still find this shop excellent for non-Hallmark generic cards and stationaries! He sells his items at Epcot too, if I recall correctly. Overall, amazing beautifully crafted paper collages!

And next to these life-like creatures were fire trucks, beauty stands and board games; the types of items you'll find inside and then some. Board games seemed to be one of their biggest sellers since an entire wall was dedicated to their display. They feature the country's favorites as well as an incredible selection of Monopoly games. From the old school edition to Dallas Cowboys, Narnia, Beatles, Disney Villians, etc. They have at least 20 variations of one of the best board games there is. Each special edition was priced at $36 which is a bit steep since the normal game costs only $10 in some stores. Regardless, if you are looking to purchase a game of some sort, this store will be extremely helpful. Each section was clearly labeled and made my browsing so much easier. Titles like, "Bath," "Pretend Play," and "Transportation," were just some of the names and sections they offer. They also have a table full of items that are marked down 20%. They change weekly and happened to feature baby dolls, board games and Rubik's Cubes this week. Overall I'm a big fan of this store. The light wood floors and packed shelves helped make this store enticing and exciting, even for a 25-year old.
