I called and made an appointment as a new patient told them all my general info and everything was good to go. I get a reminder call for my appointment all is normal see you tomorrow etc... I show up early fill out the paperwork with insurance info and then hand it in.. upon which i am informed they need to collect 5-10 dollars from me for the visit (even though i have 0 copay per my insurance card) i ask why.. since I've never heard of this, and the answer is something along the lines of since you are a new patient and you aren't established and we assume you work off a deductible we don't know if you hit that deductible yet so we need to collect something and you will be reimbursed by insurance if its not needed.. Well i was not happy, i made the appointment a month ago and no one told me about a payment, you call to remind me and don't mention the payment.. THEN i ask if i can give her a dollar because this seems ridiculous, and she needs to text her office manager to see what the minimum she can collect is.. so i wait. Call me up and tell me .. well actually you have to pay in full for the appointment for the same reasons that are illogical. So now my 5-10$ goes to 260$ + since she wasn't really sure what it would cost because i hadn't had the appointment yet. AND AGAIN... no one ever mentioned this in scheduling, or the call back that there was even a possibility of a payment. I do not recommend them at all maybe the doctors are wonderful, but you cant see them as a new person unless you front the visit price the first time.. waste of time.

I was told by several staff members that a referral from my doctor should allow me to be seen. However, my referrals were repeatedly denied, and I was ultimately told they do not accept Medicaid patients--something that directly contradicts what I had been told earlier. This lack of consistency and transparency has made an already stressful situation even more difficult. At a time when I urgently need care, I feel dismissed and unsupported. It is deeply frustrating to feel like access to care is being determined arbitrarily, rather than based on patient need. No one should have to fight this hard just to be seen--especially for essential women's health services. I hope the clinic reevaluates how they communicate policies and handle patients in vulnerable situations. Access to care should not feel this inaccessible.

I get a call the morning of my appointment saying my my appointment is at 10:30am. So naturally I arrive at 10:25 for my appointment. The lady running the front says I was wrong, that I was supposed to arrive at 10:00 because of new patient policy (news flash was not a new patient) she had all my info and my records because I am a banner health patient. For some odd reason they marked my appointment as a new patient appointment. "Let me go check with the back if we can still see you" she says as she walks back to all her co workers standing, laughing, drinking coffee in a little group pow wow. She comes back moments later, "No we can't see you today we have to reschedule." Fine, I ask when is your next appointment. She tries to schedule me a month out. Very unprofessional, this center did not want to help me or offer a solution for being 20 min late to an appointment that they told me started 10 minutes later. Find another place, not worth the hassle and the heart ache.

Anyway, I almost lost my life and baby because Dr Hayes refused to treat me for hyperemesis gravidarium. I had to find another doctor because Hayes refused to treat me. After my new OBGYN reviewed the same information Dr Hayes reviewed via fax, I was admitted to the hospital the same day. I was extremely malnourished and my liver and kidneys were now in failure. I had to receive extensive treatment and was an admitted patient in the hospital for 31 days to try and get my lab values back to normal. I had to have a Central line put in and had to have peripheral IVs as well because I needed so many drugs and electrolytes. It was really really bad. I also had bleeding in my GI track because lack of care. My husband was on the phone daily with Dr Hayes office trying to get me help. We both were ignored despite two diagnosis' from ER doctors for hyperemesis- including lots of labs to prove how sick I was. I bawled on the phone with the nurse saying this is my fourth pregnancy and have never felt so devalued as a human being - or the life in my womb. They didn't care for either me or my baby. If you chose this practice as your provider I wish you better luck than my story. Thanks to my current dr who has wished to final a formal complaint for lack of care - me and my baby are OK and on the road to recovery.

She was overly critical of my weight gain (which was within normal limits), she would routinely speak over me rudely and often with a condescending tone. When her "nurse" (I'm not sure if she was a LPN/RN or not) quit/was fired, she brought in her receptionist (Paige) and started referring to her as a nurse, when really she was a un-certified/un-trained MA (medical assistant). Paige was unprofessional on the phone, and had little to no knowledge about medication or current studies being conducted on autism research (the subject of one such call). When I pressed for less interaction with the receptionist-turned-MA, Dr. Hayes released me from care. The office staff is terrible, when I asked for a copy of my medical records, I was met with rude comments and glares from the admin staff. One woman seems to do all the work while 8 others stand around and chat. Hayes is VERY religious, which I don't usually care about, but there is scripture plastered all over her office, and a pro-life charity bucket at the front desk. The office is shared by a cosmetic company (think hair removal/botox), and their flyers are everywhere, even in the bathroom. I was very disappointed and would encourage any pregnant woman to seek medical care elsewhere.

She took her time with me to explain in depth to make sure I understood all the medical jargon and really personalized my experience, the way I've always felt it should be. I am so grateful to have found her and I will continue to see her even after I healed. I highly recommend her. As a plus, she had a lovely office, lovely staff, and a great range of supplements.
