I've been to a few nail salons in the triad area and I have to say My Nail Tech Nail Salon is by far the best nail salon I've been to! Customer service is great and even offered me a bottle of water! Definitely a 10/10 read more

This establishment is unprofessional, rude and lacks a basic empathy for customers. If you don't want your needs to be heard, want to have designs forced upon you and then be overcharged for services that aren't listed on a price list, this is the place for you. read more

My Daughter & her friend had her nails done here for the FIRST time. She charged my daughters card for $65 for a plain set of powdered nails. When I came back to pick them up, her lights were off , doors locked, teenagers outside! Now this entire community knows me, and they know what type of mother I am! I would neverrrrrrrr leave 2 girls standing outside at night alone! I went to Kim's shop the next day after work and she was not in, so I took a picture of her price list. It didn't add up! The next day after work I called Kim to dispute the charges. She told me she makes verbal agreements with her clients. I then asked her to make these prices to make sense, because it's not adding up. She told me it's her shop and she can charge what she wants! It was clear that Kim had customers because I could hear them in the background. I tell Kim this is bad business and let me remind you of what is printed on this list...Kim begins to YELL at the top of her lungs over the phone and says LET me Remind you to shut up and she hung up on me! I would have neverrrrrrr let my daughter come here if I would have read her Facebook reviews first (which she took down after I posted my experience on my own page). It seems that Kim has had an issue of overpricing who she wants to and not controlling her behavior or attitude. I read one review where a lady discovered after the fact that Kim had charged her credit card $60+ dollars for an 8 year old to have her nails painted ! My intentions of posting our experience with this establishment is not of ILL intent, but to show Kim that you cannnnnot get away of robbing the community who works hard for their OWN money! Especially teenagers with Jobs! My only hopes are that the workers in that establishment are able to work under a fair management and are treated with respect as well. I also hope that she realizes that you cannot so wrong by people and expect a positive outcome. I was always told to be Humble ... or life will humble you! read more

Do NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY at MY NAIL TECH!!!!!! Sooooo I dropped my daughter and her friend off at My Nail Tech before closing on Monday to get their nails done it was around 6:30pm shop was empty. My daughter had a picture of exactly what she wanted. Simple Powder with tips..these look nothing like the picture). She had no nail repair , nothing extra . Just needed a full set and color. When I arrived at 7:25pm to pick her up my daughter and friend were standing outside , shop closed ,lights off. !!!!!!When they got in the car I asked her if she had saved any money... she said Noooo she charged me $65! I immediately start looking for jewels and all kind of designs .... NOTHING! Her friend immediately chimes in and says she told us she was originally going to make us pay $75 , but she changed her mind ....and she didn't do our nails she had one man do both of ours at the same Time while she cleaned up. I asked did you know about the price before or after their nails were done , she said she asked for my card and told me while I was getting my nails done. (Blank stare) so immediately I'm hottttt! So I called Kim today during business hours...she remembered exactly who my daughter and friend were. She said she charged her this much for the length and the shape , I said that's not on the price list. I need you to make it make sense . This is when she got crazy on me . She then begins to tell me she can charge whatever she wants it's her shop and she makes verbal agreements with her customers. I say again ...make this make sense to me Kim...let me remind you again what my child asked for and help you add up these prices on this public list. Thissssss crazy woman begins to yell at me at the top of her lungs in front of her customers and says let me remind you to shut up and hangs up on me!!! (Oh I'm really smiling now) At this point I'm grabbing car keys ready to meet Kim in person, But I paused and prayed! Lord that took strength! Kim knew these girls were just happy to get their nails done and were expecting the picture ... Kim knew she could take full advantage because of the time frame ... Kim knew if she took that payment while they had started their nails they'd have to pay! Kim knew to lock them doors and turn off the lights at 7:26 before I got there ....but what Kim is about to find out is that I'm going to hit her Pockets! Since you want to take advantage and Steal from kids ... I'm encouraging everyone I know to STOP giving your money to this woman ! Her reviews tell me everything I need to know! read more

Kim is very rude and will jack up the prices at the last minute. She yells and screams at you when there is an issue and hangs up.

Awful people took advantage of young girls. Charged them $65 for powder with tips. Tell me where it says that on the price list!! Dishonest and disgusting. read more

my nails don't look bad, but 3 of my fingers were cut with the electric file. I was in pain for most of the appointment. they were not gentle and very unprofessional. lastly, I was overcharged for what I got. I will not be going back! read more

This is my most favorite place and now only place I get my nails done. They are respectful, clean, friendly, and reasonably price. I have went to other nail shops and they always mess up my nails and hurt or cut me. My nail tech is consistently a professional and well done job. I highly recommended this place. read more

The owner Kim is RUDE, ARROGANT, and did I mention RUDE, The manner in which she speaks to certain customers is unprofessional on many levels. As a customer, when you enter an establishment where you will be spending your money, you should at least be made to feel welcome. I no longer live in the area, however when I am home and need nail services I avoid this salon. They take advantage of the customers in this small town because they feel they have the market cornered. If you are wise and care how your dollar is spent, don't go here. Go where you will be valued and appreciated. read more

ONE: PLEASE!!!!! Change out those tools each time you're with a new customer. If a customer gets an infection at their cuticle because of unclean equipment, not only are you (and your business) at fault, but you could be paying medical bills, you could be sued, you could have that business shut down, or arrested if the infection ends up being the stem of some disease....I don't know. Something like AIDS (because you guys DO cut skin with those dremel tools!) for instance? TWO: The customer is right when it comes to what they want, how they want it, what colors, shapes and sizes they want! You cannot and should not tell a customer what YOU think is better for them. They're the ones spending a LOT of money to make them selves not only look beautiful, but in a way FEEL beautiful! THREE: When engaging a customer, don't be negative towards other businesses that are in competition with you! They're all working just as hard (and in your case...harder) to put food in their family's stomach, clothes on their back, etc. Talk about weather, talk about television shows, talk about music...something! But don't bash people in your native tongue (and I speak FOUR: When painting either with gel or polish, you ALWAYS paint a bit under the tip and the very tip of the nail as well! This prevents the polish or the gel from peeling/cracking! It stays on longer! FIVE: Unless it's an emergency, keep your phone down and do your job! Even if you're waiting on the gel to cure, you could have cleaned up some of the equipment you were using! Or the desk you used...SOMETHING more productive! read more

My 16 year old daughter was in this salon with her friend who was having her nails done. The manager /owner called my daughter over to show other people her nails. She then proceeded to tell her how ugly her nails were and announced this loudly across the store. I have confirmed this with other patrons that were present. I called to speak with the owner who would only verify her name was Kim. She was unwilling to provide a last name. When I asked if this was how she conducted business, she said "well they were ugly" If you are looking for a salon where the management encourages ridiculing the customers , you couldn't ask for a better place. read more
