They had 2 years of piano at another studio, but we decided to move on & save time by having someone come to us. We started with 30 minutes each, but the first class was so incredibly interactive, exciting and with such an amazing teacher, my daughters did not want her to leave. We decided to extend them to each have one hour once a week and that almost seems like its still not enough. My girls have an excitement towards piano I have never seen in them. They play all the time, learning almost from scratch in a really effective manner, with this brain based method. It reminds me of the Montessori method they are already learning, with so many materials, colors, and steps to help them remember the notes. Our teacher Hannah is incredibly talented, kind and patient. We look forward to seeing her each week & hope to continue with her for as long as we can!

There is so much to say about Oscar as a unique artist, a devoted teacher, a master voice…read more"builder", and a kind person, but this space is not enough for me to write everything so I will focus on him as a voice teacher. I started voice lessons with him not as the typical high school graduate looking to build a professional career in the field of opera but as a medical professional who only wanted to sing classical music well. After a few years of training with him I ended up being accepted in a local conservatory with a scholarship grant in a college program, major in music and vocal performance. I loved singing all my life that I was willing to do what it took to achieve the "excellence" I always dreamed of. My path was far from easy as I had to work the night shift in order to attend school during the day. I also had my share of vocal faults due to fatigue and stress from a demanding schedule. Oscar helped me through all these difficulties and never gave up on me. He probably saw how much I loved singing...not just singing, but excellent singing. After a few years of studies at the conservatory I had to move overseas and despite the major disruption from my move I continued to sing at every opportunity I was given. I still live abroad but every time I return to the US I take lessons from Oscar to make sure my voice stays on the right track. Looking back to the past few years, I believe I have come a long way. I have done solo concerts both in the US and abroad and continue to receive invitations to perform on stage. Miracles can happen... that, I believe. Missy and her music-magic making teachers have done so much for us. My kiddo and I LOVE this class - everything about it. We started going when my kiddo was just over a year and BUSY. The first class, I was worried when my kiddo wouldn't sit still in the circle and do everything we were 'supposed' to do. However, Missy explained that some kids need to be up and moving; she was very kind and knowledgeable of different learning styles. Missy's style and material reaches all types of kids - from wigglers like mine to those who sit and observe. One thing that makes this class gold to me are Missy's nuggets of wisdom - like the learning styles. She enriches the overall experience for kids and adults. The class itself has tons of variety - kids (and adults) make music with all kinds of instruments, props, themselves and more! Missy (and all the teachers, actually) emphasizes diversity in music - from different rhythms to a wide range of beats. We all learn a ton without even realizing it! Missy creates such a fun, lively, educational and nurturing environment in every class. She is ALWAYS upbeat, positive and incredibly kind to every child.
